Bio Engineer Archive

I dropped bio in frustration two months ago swearing to try it again when they fixed so poof!, i even went out and bought another copy of this fizuckled game just to try it, but i like to plan my character ahead of time and need to know if i have to squeeze the first ranger tree in there to sample the big bad one? Or do i need master even? Has anyone been sampling successfully without it?

Oh and can someone tell my noob ass what AoE means?

If you want to:

Make the highest level pets - BE/ranger

Make Tissues - BE/tailor

Make Stims - BE/doctor

You don't need any of the secondary classes if you want to muddle along in mediocrity. But I wouldn't be able to make high level pets without ranger 1/0/0/0

AoE means Area of Effect attack

Can sample just fine with Exploration 4 and some magical clothing(+mask scent tissues, self supplied of course!). For Rancors and the likes require more caution than usual, going prone and crawling inside the critters detect range(40 m for most), then can sample in relative safety.

Having Master Scout would be a blessing though, just to identify creature levels alone. Extra boost to Mask definitely cannot hurt, but is not required to be successful in DNA sampling. Be cautious and you should be fine with just the clothes and scout skills,

Thanks for the answers peeps really appreciated it, managed to grind out my alt to novice bio last night and man is my head poundin lol talk anout session. This is good news indeed, look like ill be able to put some tracking skills and some business skills to get a vendor up and runnin for my main and my alt - yippy!!!
