Thread: Creature crafting questions from a novice Bio-Engineer

I haven't gone too far up the Bio-Engineering tree, but I still consider it my primary profession, and when the publish came I finally got around to really try my hands on mixing DNA and make new creatures.
But...Here comes my question.
As I am also a novice Creature Handler, I thought I'd make as good a mount pet as I could, so I could stick to using that most of the time, atleast untill I can handle more than one pet at a time.
So I made three Bakrasets, from various DNA I picked up on Lok.
1 which is around level 14, have Blinding and Intimidate special attacks, vulnerable to kinetic, and around 6000 Health and Action and about 3500 Mind.
2nd one is level 17, have 2 Knockdown special attacks, about the same amount of HAM, also vulnerable to kinetic.
3rd one is also level 17, have Blinding and Stunning attack, less HAM about 4000 in all three, but has 32 kinetic resists.

Which one is best? (For PvE)
Does the HAM count the most?
Or is the vulnerability to Kinetic too much of a disadvantage?
Or do the special attacks count the most? (Where I figured Knockdown is the best of the ones I got)

And just one more question...I had 2 out of the 5 samples that had Disease special, but strangely enough it didn't carry to the creature, and I ended up with 2 Knockdowns instead.
Is there any special place to place the special attack DNA samples?
Or do they just have to be the majority of the samples?
Or how do I make certain I get the special attacks that I am aiming for?

Sorry for the ton of questions, but I am rather new at this, and it is a bit confusing.

(Oh and I am sorry if these questions have already been answered. I have read quite a bit of the posts here, but I haven't found anything that could answer those questions, yet)

is there any reason to have such a stupidly long name that it effects the layout of the forum?

either have your name changed or refrain from posting here in future please

the name shouldn't mess up the formating too much unless you are using a stupidly low resolution screen so shut up

to answere stoppelton's questions though: I think I would use the third one. Kinetic resist is important and having ballanced HAM can sometimes be better than having more in one than the others. Others may and probably will disagree, so its up to you.

I am not yet sure how the special attacks get added to the template, but the answer is probably somewhere in the forums by now...
