Thread: How do you get knockdown and dizzy on a high level pet??
There are a couple ways to do it.
One way is to use Vexed Voritor Lizard DNA in the aggression slot which is pretyt high level with light armor but the resists kind of suck. It will get you Knockdown and Dizzy though.
Better way is to mix somehting that has Knockdown / Dizzy in the agression slot and something else in the other slots to even out the resits where you want them and increase the level closer to where you want it. For that you can use anything that havs Knockdown / Dizzy. Put Grizzled Dewback into aggression with Bark Mite Birrow in Physique and Prowess and Mutant Rancor in Mental and Psychology. That will get you one high level Kncokdown / Dizzy pet with decent resist across the board. Then you use this clone to sample for a piece of DNA to put in Agrression for the final combine or you jsut keep the clone in your DNA vault to sample the next time you need KD / Dizzy on a high level clone
The trick to getting the specials you want and keeping the resists high, is to make a "Donor" for the Special attack DNA.
The example of the Vex Voritor Lizard is a good example for the specials, but will cause your resists to lower when you use a high resist sample like a Bark Mite Burrower Queen.
Step 1 - Create a First Generation Special Donor. Do this by making a Gnort with BMBQ, BMBQ, BMBQ, VEX, and VEX. You can change the BMBQ DNA in the Mind slot with another high level DNA without Ranged attack if you wish. I use a Gnort as my Donor because they use the least resources and I know for sure any Gnort DNA in my inventory comes from the Donor. The resists will be lower than the BMBQ, but much higher than the Vex. You will notice that the Specials from the Vex on on the Gnort ![]()
Step 2 - Take your Gnort and DNA sample him twice. Now your going to make another Special Donor. This time use BMBQ, BMBQ, BMBQ, Donor Gnort, and Donor Gnort. You now have made a Second Generation "Special Donor".
In each Generation you will notice that the resists get higher and higher. In most cases a second generation Special Donor is all that is needed to keep the resists high. If they are still low, just resample the second generation animal twice and use that DNA to make a 3rd generation donor.
It takes a lot of DNA and a lot of time, but you can keep resists high and get the specials you want.
