What has more effect of CL - the number of resists or the total, I'm going out to do some experiemtns today but I was wondering - in your opinions would using a creature with 4x 20% resists have more or less affect on raising the CL than a creature with 2x 50% and all else vuln?

It depends on resists... if the +50's are on blast and stun then it will have less efect on CL as would the resist being kinetic and/or energy... That coupled with the number of different resists will raise CL faster then anything else..... you can have a 5k HAM cl10 with all vuln... but you add 10% kinetic and energyto it and it is now cl 15-20.... add 10% to all other resists and high teens to low 20's...

Hope that makes sense...

well I was considering trying to use Giant Cave veermoks in my CL 10 pets instead of voritor dashers but they have 50% kinetic and energy.
Dashers seem to be the best thing for high HAm, low resists. **edit**

I like bos personally... the runners have intimidate and the bols have KD... could throw in some ranged at the cost of resists, HAM and everything else... attempted to make one with KD intimidate and ranged... failed attempt... got the specials and even ranged to stick... but HAM was something like 100, 300, 100... and it was cl 5 with 1% kinetic and min. damage... slow to hit and would miss 8 out of 10... If I could work the other areas I could prolly get the resist up to about 6% and HAM around the 1.5-2k range... but I think that would be seriously pushing it.. as I had to go 2 and 3 generations to get what I got... It would have to be something like 5 or 6 gen... and the crit fail on that would cause mental anguish...
