Thread: Selling Vicious Level 10's
Don't blame the BE any more than the customer. They are equally at fault. The fact is this:
During the crafting process there is *nothing* that indicates to a BE that the creature is vicious OR that it is not usable by a non-CH.
During the buying process, there is *nothing* on the deed that indicates whether the creatures is vicious OR that it is not usable by a non-CH.
The *only* way either the BE or the customer would know this, is either by direct experience with such a problem, by reading these forums, or by being told by another player in-game. I really don't think you can be too hard on someone for making this mistake. Lets just hope that the customer and the BE are reasonable people and can admit that they each made a mistake and work it out.

Very good, give this man a cookie. I think the deed needs to have a cert on it, just like the weapons that are out there. It should check your Max pet level as well as the vicious scale.
Certified: Yes or No
Vicious: Yes or No
That would also help those that open tickets and scream because their max pet level is 45 but they can't call a CL45 toxic merek battlelord. It seems so easy you would think the code was written in a lost chinese dialect and they don't know how to change it.

Actually, I think you're calling it wrong. The skin dictates theaggro of the pet, and that's what keeps itfrom being called by a non-CH,at least in my experience. At least I've never seen a lvl 10 that didn't work in a non-aggro skin, but got stuckjustlike the original poster training an aggro level 10.
On the other hand, they may have been trying to make a novice CH pet, good for XP, and got zapped by the lvl 10 CL.Had that happen to me.
Arthur,
Sorry, Yep, you're correct, there's no direct way of knowing that.
I was reading it that it might have had something to do with DNA.
You can find the aggresiveness on the creature table here too

That is correct, and I didn't say otherwise. I'm just saying that to know that aggro skins cause it to be unusable by non-CH, then to know the minimum CL levels of all skins, then to know which of those skins are aggro and which aren't is a lot of stuff to know (or to look up even) particularly for those not active in these forums. That information really should be apparent to both the BE and the user explicitly during both the crafting and buying process.
Heck, I still scratch my head when someone asks me "can you make me a non-ch dune lizard?". The only way I can know that is by personal experience or by looking it up from info that has been shared here and just hope and prey that this info is correct. A lot of times admittedly I'll just say "aw, screw it, I'll just make you a gurrcat to be safe".
