First, you can't have my stuff. Most of it disappeared from my vendor storeroom anyway (when did they change that?).

I'm out. Can't say that anything in particular was the last straw, just haven't found the game to be much fun for a while. My gaming group got sucked into hologrinding and that pretty much killed it for us between the grind and the fact that we were each doing something different so we couldn't really team well any more. But as anyone who has read my missives knows, it isn't like I've felt that the game has been on particularly good footing since its premature launch.

Good luck, I'm glad to have seen the BE profession come as far as it has and hope that I did more to help than hinder that process. I am playing in another game now and have already seen one of you over on their boards, hopefully I'll see more of you somewhere sometime. Keep up the good fight and may the Force be with you.

So instead me and him are going to be dressing up in bright colored tights, donning a codpeice along with big shoulder pads and spend our time hanging around darkened alleys and rooftops

This killed our PA a long time ago. When holos came out, the PA was screwed.

There are people doing the grind. They either unlock or don't and sometimes leave before they unlock due to the intensity of trying to grind before patch xx.

Fortunately, I have a couple of friends that enjoy crafting as much as I do. It helps. But I sure do miss the large gatherings and hunts.

Agreed 100%. Just browse through THIS Forum and check out the lame posts about how to grind this or where to go to sample that. They don't give a rat's about the profession, they simply want to get it done and over with.

Sad part.. being a master BE for 5 seconds qualifies them to advance one step farther to Jedi. While the rest of us who are attempting to figure out the inner workings of pet genetics are passed by like bantha fodder.

I think they should have to actually make a set of pets - with various stats as goals.... then again.. no.. then they would simply publish canned recipes fir doing that too. Let them cut and run through BE. Let's help them grind up so they can bugger off into jedi-dom. Let them leave the rest of us, who are "INTERESTED" in truely Mastering the Profession the hell alone.

There's a lot of truth there. Hologrinding has to be one of the worst thought-through things done in this game. Fortunately, we reformed a new PA and have since managed to build it back up with new members who are in this for fun, not hologrinding. So now they'll can hologrinding in favor of quests, DUH.

Hey Scorus-

You are definitely someone I left out unintentionally in my own farewell post a week ago. I always enjoyed your "missives." You will be missed by those that remain.

Cheers-
