Thread: Question on Flora/Meat and Creatures/Tissues
How much of an effect does the resources you use on the final skin combine of a pet have on the resulting pet?
What stats do YOU look for in particular on your resources (obviously PE,OQ, and Flavor, but do you require all three to be above some minimum value, or do you sum the three and require a minimum) for your clones AND your tissues?
Do BE skill tapes exist yet, and if so, do they work?
Has anyone used chef food that's supposed to help the assembly and experimentation and actually had it do so?
I also want to take this opportunity (as it's my introductory post) to thank Tal-n and the rest of the MBE's from over the months this game has been out for assisting with documentation on a system that even the dev's don't understand.
I think that's all for now.
Hi Bracci,
As near as anyone can tell, the quality of the meat and flora used to make the final creature combine has no effect at all on the animal. I always set aside big stacks of crappy stuff to use for that.
I have tried both bespin port and polly cake and was very unimpressed with both. Bespin port is only good for 1 roll, and I noticed no difference, and even if I did, it's only 1 roll and with 10 exp points spread between 5 different categories it's difficult to justify. The only time I tried using the assembly stuff I crit failed on the assembly, lol, so much for that.
no skill tapes exist for BE. Probably the most useful crafting ones that do are the medical ones because those are somewhat useful if you make some of your own components, but beyond that, that's about it.
Good question. I myself am a BE to be. And I have been working to figure out what a good average quality of FL/PE/OQ would be, for meat as well as Flora.
I am mainly interested in tissues, as I have a tailor and chef willing to buy all I produce already. So how about some advice on that average you Masters of the Test Tube?
