Bio Engineer Archive

I just realized Bio-engineers dont do too much but make super pets and pet food and stuff....right? I was wondering how you, the bio-engi community felt on this topic. I think it would be awesome if they served a more galactic civil war purpose, maybe they get some sort of benefits on cloning or can work with Image Designers to geneticly alter characters...aka give them weird abilities, or something *shrugs* maybe just a discount at the cloning facility or something else. Add onto my idea.
