Thread: Can you make me a non-CH pet with X, Y and Z?

I have encountered this request more and more. To me it is so much harder to make a non-CH pet than anything else. I took a long break from the BE grind and SWG in general and now I am back. What are some of the DNA combos that you use to fill these requests??? I guess I am so focused on the big creatures for high level clones that I have forgotten my roots of good low level DNA samples to use

An excellent place to start (the very best imho) is www.swgbe.mmospy.com

The Recipes section there covers everything, from 10 to 70. And it's what I follow religiously

That's a pretty cool site!

I use VD/VD/HP/HP/HP which works pretty good. I use the best HP I have in slot 5, and the best voritor in slot 1.

Experimentation is a PITA. I'll throw one point into phys, another in phys if the first one nukes out. Like to use a point in aggro or mental if it is really poor. I find that experimentation will screw up the CL the most or cause invalid pets.

Haven't gotten to it yet, but I do want to play around and find a good lvl 10 combo on Endor or Endor/Naboo.

I always use the VD/VD/HP/HP/HP formula for level 10 pets. I price them as per the BE Calc, so they're usually 46-52k credits, and I sell them like crazy.

I inevitably get the 'But my friend has a level 10 razor cat with 10k HAM, I want one for 20k' almost every day... If someone wants a non-CH pet with X and Y specials, or 10k health, Iexplain tothem that it's not worth my time or effort to make them via 3rd or 4th generation cloning, unless they want to fork out at least 250k for one, and warn them that they'll probably not be able to use it soon due to the progressive level 10 pet nerfing.

I find makeing pets beyond 2gens a waste of time. Instead I try finding ways to make them with less gens, yeah you might loose some in stats but they get a lot easier to make. Best is if you can find a wild creature with CL20 or below that have the special attacks you want. Makes it a lot easier. Yesterday I did some research on swgcreatures.com and then some experimenting and I'm very happy how this 2nd gen pet turned out. Swgcreatures is a great site to find what creatures got the stats you want. Oh here's a pic of the 2nd gen, I don't really feel like giving away what I used tho

hehe Lej

i also managed to make some great CL10 (or lower) with around 8k/4k/4k HAM with kinetic resist up to 60, from 100dmg to 180dmg,speed under 2.00 and 2 specials (also ranged attack).

U just need to spend a lot of time in looking for the right dna, mixing it etc...

Like Lej though, don't feel to give away what i used
