until these stats stop shifting on taming (because they are, right now) and until we know what all these stats actually DO... I'm hesitant to call ANYTHING 'decent', let alone 'GOOD' or 'GREAT'.

lol...welcome to the BE club We're all still trying to see how things work. From what I remember from my crafting, you seem to have found a godd combo there. The health is a little higher than I've been able to get, but the armor is lower and damage is about the same.

Laf. Yeah.

Without specials and special resists I'm having a hard time fniding unique creatures. And when I do find them I don't know how to use them. The Leviasquall's pretty neat, has Hardiness near 800 but a Fortitude of less than 10. I'm trying to use it as a diluter like CBDs or MDHs but so far nothing extraordinary is happening.

My highest damage was around 491 off 600 or so final power. Where post-CU are people getting higher damage critters?

I think the elite 60s will have the highest damage. So hunt some raptors. Careful tho....they are extremely cunning.... (700s for power). There a post on elite DNA stats with the info in it.

Special attacks do not seem to work with bio-e'ed and wild animals so I wouldn't bother being concerned with that. I want to make high damage/high armor pets that will actually tank like they are supposed to...

and ranged attacks seem to stick no matter where they're put in the template.

unfortunately, even if a clone has a ranged attack, and is trained to use that ranged attack, it will not use the ranged attack on command (if at all).

The kahmurra on Talus has low fort, but the hardiness is in the 200-300 range
