Here are a few questions i would liek to get some answers to :

  • Is it good money making?

  • Do you need to run a float of harvesters? ( i droped WS cause i grew tired of this )

  • What Kind of template do you have ?

  • Do you craft everything possible in the BE profession or focus on one kind ? Tissues/creatures/medic supply

Please help me on on making a decision

Let see if i can help you this is my opinion so take it as such:

1= Money Maker very doubtfull but with the new changes to the profesion you have a bigger player base as costumers for your products, so it could be.

2= Well that depends on what you want to focus on pets are hand crafted you need to go out into the field and obtain DNA samples, Tissues takes creature food so you either hire a ranger, help from your guild, get it yourself or buy it. then you will need plenty of Flora and Wood(highest oq posible) and if you are after meds well they take a bunch of resources am a BE not a doc so i have not make Meds at all.

3= i used to be MBE/Tailor merchant xxx3 but i just change to master chef and drop Tailor, way to many tells from players asking for stuff i cannot make like can you make me a belt and hat with the highest defese against this and that. Got annoying/shruh.

4= Ill be focusing to make Pets and tissues for my chef, Meds only for friends and guildies but the wider range of products you craft the more costumers you can atract to your vendors.

Hope that helps......

I'm kind of the same way with BE. I really have no desire to be a med seller, as the resources needed are outrageous. I make a lot of tissues, and the good ones sell for 125k often (I've seen higher prices, but 125k is as high as I'll go).

I make some pets, but haven't had a chance to see what real pets (postCU) will sell for now. So far I've made 20k per. Not bad considering the low level resources needed, plus the dna samples (at cl59 I can take a hit or two and run out of there.. I don't see the cloner terribly often). If I make a pet in the future that just demands DNA from a critter that causes me to spend too much money on cloning, I'll charge a little more to cover costs.

I can say I make more than I spend. I have heard some outrageous prices for tissues, so you can probably do very well, but someone (like me) will undercut you eventually.

Oh, I started making schematics for chefs as well. Of note: my alt is a chef, but specializes in pet foods. Every time I make them, I simply tell the chef to pay what they think they ought to. This morning, that turned into 500k for 9 schems... I felt that was too much, especially for someone I've done business with before. However, he evidently thinks that's affordable and a good deal, so there you have it.
