Hi,

Please. please can someone explain how to compare wild pets against Post 'patch 17' BE clones?

On top of that with all the new stats for BE Clones, in detail how do they compare to say a typical lvl 70 wild pet?

How can I gauge how good a BEclone is at a certain level looking at its stats?

What I need is facts not guesses please

Also have anyMBEs actually made anygood high lvl clones since Patch 17 and what are it's stats?

Thank you in advance for your help.

if you need facts, and not guesses, you'll have to wait.

specials and resists aren't part of the program right now. ranged attacks don't work on clones. crafted stats shift and re-write themselves on tamed pets. until all these problems are addressed, we're filling in crossword puzzles without the benefit of the clues.

Well, we do know a few things.

First, BE pets have a speed factor so they attack nearly 2 to 1. I posted info on this in a seperate thread that listed the number of hits the BE pet made versus wild. More damage means they hold aggro better. Remember to consider the speed when looking at the pet deed.

Second, we definitely can go higher in health than wild. We're seeing health in the 8000s department.

Third, the armor seems comparable. Not much info on this as I don't know what the best armor CL70 pet is. I know from fights that there definitely isn't some kind of noticeable difference... I'm guessing CL70 wildarmor to be somewhere in the 4600 department.

So....the biggest thing to remember is BE pet attack speed. Even if stats look comparable, it's much better due to how much faster it attacks.

Thanks BraccusD,

I realize that all of this is up in the air at the moment but posts like this do help.

I have already seen new BE clones in vendors and finding it hard to decide what is good, etc.

Any examples of high-lvl clones would help.

use the "lammergeier tracker" in my sig.

you'll have to dig around a bit, but I've already got CL55/56 pets with 8914 health, 460 regen, 3478 armor, and 69-307 damage. the recipe isn't hard... a trip to the kkowir forest offers nonaggro elite donors that can clone out to CL55-85... and using my early spreadsheet data (this 'recipe' was my first post-p17 attempt at a viable pet) still offers solid advice.

I'm still working on a CL70 version to match the CL55/56 clones... but I've also been re-xping the entire DNA line several times to make sure the eventual FAQ can offer current data for new BioE's.

I'm NOT going to spell out the recipe I've gotten... it's too early to start spouting off winning recipes, at least until we see specials and resists on /examine. the data I used to put it together is all there, and I'm bad with math myself. if I can do it, it shouldn't be impossible for the rest of the BioE community... and I've left more than a few hints across various posts to reward the careful reader.

two DNA donors. x-x-y-y-y. the rest is buried in the text. experimentation will push the results between CL55 and CL85. go nuts.

No one knows at the moment what the limits are, but that's not too bad for a CL70. The Armor is good but the Health could be higher. I've gotten 8k Health with 4200 Armor.

4200 Armor = 37.4% * 8000 Health = 10990 Effective Health
4800 Armor = 41.3% * 6600 Health = 9324 Effective Health

That doesn't say much since there are other factors involved, just thought I'd mention it.

Yeah, I like the higher health, lower armor thing because a CH will also use embolden to up the health by 15% whereas the armor gives diminishing returns.

If you want it to tank, try getting those that have over400 max damage to try to tank the best. You might be able to do with less tho (I'm doing fine with 385 max). So my newest pet I'm waiting to be full grown is C69 8500 health and95-385 dmg, forgot the other stats. I'm going to try to make another that is high damage to help better in groupsand another that is high health/armor, low damage to serve as crowd control.
