Doesnt have to be precise, but something within +/-5 or so levels would be great so i can take the DNA, run it through a calculation and get a rough idea of what the final pet level might be. If it can be put in some form, (preferably HTML as i dont have Excel), or anything would be great as well.

I have some DNA i would love to use, but it's a very limited supply and i'd hate to waste it...

thanks for the help

If you look through the posts, you'll find answers most of the time.

This is Dorelli's post about pets:

And we also THINK but are not sure yet b/c we've still to test it, that the old formulas for putting the DNA into template form work. So your best bet is to do this:

  • go to www.swgcreatures.com DNA lab and hand put your own data into the calculator for the various combinations you are interested in.

  • look at the final result vs. the initial result and assume you have 2-3 lines to experiment to the max in (ie. hardiness/fortitude, endurance/dexterity, intelligence/cleverness, and so on. So you can guess your final result w/o having to actually use your DNA.

  • then go to my initial post - you will see that you can do a rough calculation with just hardiness/fortitude and power to get and index and look on the graph I posted and look up the level you might get.

Sorry that it has to have so many steps ... it isn't linear so you cannot just plug in the numbers.

I'm going to try to find time in the next few days to incorporate Alesk's work into the current spreadsheet, and post the look up graph as it stands now
