I have already placed a WTB request in the trade forums, but I thought I would come in here and ask teh experts if anybody had a good meat resourse supplier... finding the meat seems to be the hardest part of grinding the profession.

Any suggestions? I'm on Eclpise, TIA

No doubt about it, getting meat is a pain.

While not as efficient as using meat to grind, you can make pet stim a's which only requires large amounts of chemical, metal and organic. All of which can be harvested.

I'd like to know how you do that. I run my macro while grinding in the water with my crafting droid out. Every few minutes I have to drag the same types of shellfish together so it doesn't fill my inventory. I've had some close calls a few times. Does the shellfish autostack for you?

I would ace more squadrons if they'd just fix the remaster bug.

It doesn't autostack, you'd have to add on a third party program that does mouse moves/clicks to get the meat to stack up. Which AFAIK is against the TOS.

I didn't really have a need for massive quantities of meat until someone wanted some BE supps from my wife and I started looking into it. Dathomirian Carnivore is some of the 'best' on Corbantis and I'm taking every opportunity to take the 3 hour hunt (thats how long my buffs last) getting meat. I had a bad run today because another group was in the area so I only got 20k in 3 hours, but I pulled 30k in 3 hours the previous 2 trips.

Intimidate, Stun, KD (til they go down), Unarmedhit 2 (I'm not even a TKM) til they're dead. I use a republic blaster to pull 1 or 2 from the lair so I don't have to deal with non-stop KD/Dizzy or Intimidate/stun.

The trick to avoiding the dizzy/kd is stay away from the enraged bull rancors... they do yeild a little bit more meat per creature then the regular enraged ones, but its not worth the trouble....I strictly go after regular enraged ones...and the enraged ones dont really have any special attacks that screw with me at all. I love finding static spawns of these without lairs because it seems they spawn forever without risk of having to many pop at once.... thoughout my time on dath, i've found some nice spots that spawn these things regularly. I also try and stay away from mutant rancors because they just seem to be a little harder to take down, and they dont give as much meat... regular rancors, gnarled, and youths aren't really worth the time i dont think.

Rancors are a great idea if you already are skilled in a combat profession, such as TKA. If you're working on TKA, crazed gurrecks on Endor give WONDERFUL XP for combat, even though they are very easy to kill, and you can harvest them afterwards. Their missions are about 6k each. Another option is to join a voritor hunting group on Dantooine...they also give a good amount of meat, and in a large group, I always found someone who was willing to give me their meat or sell it for cheap. Good luck!

Well for grinding Meat you might as well get into a Sharnaff Group and offer to buy all the meat they get.

On FarStar Endorian Carnivore is perfect for a BE atm, so its nice and easy to get.

We had great Naboo Avian before, which was a pain.

Good Meat on high level Planets is usually not a problem, great meat on low level planets always is.
