Thread: Making Non-CH, level 10, HIGH damage (low ham) pets?

I've done this before because technically a high damage low HAM pet will be able to do more damage before it gets incapped than a low damage high HAM pet. Of course pet damage is negligable, so I gave that up except for my own personal pets. For non-CH pets I've gotten up to 300 damage so far, but that was even without vulnerabilities.

Naturally, I can get 5k health pets that hit for 30-35 damage...

but I'm thinking of trying to makelow ham / high damage non-ch level 10pets instead.

My thinking is that such a pet would be good for people grinding CH on low-level mobs, or low-level swoopers, etc. (the kind of situations where a fight should be over in 1 hit)

Anyway, regardless reasons, I am going to try to create a high damage (ranged) non-ch level 10 pet.

I thought I'd start with merek death's heads... (highest "power" dna that I know about)... and mix in some crappy level 2 dna in the first 4 slots, just tosee what comes out.

The problem is that MDH's have no vunerabilities. Of course, I'd want to introduce as many vunerabilities as possible in the hopes of dramatically lowering the CL.

I'd be glad to report back here whatever I've been able to do in this matter.

But before I begin, I thought I should ask: Has anyone else done something like this? What's the highest damage you've gotten on a non-ch level 10 pet?

increasing power (to increase damage) increases level much faster then adding HAM. You'll also find that using low end DNA samples, you can't experiment agression more than a few points, and then you'll likely be over level 10.
