(Light-hearted post - not a whine...)
When I read RoD I thought "Hmm.. Bio-Engineers have a lot of fun."
I'd like to report the book to the Advertising Standards Authority now, please
Ok - it's not that bad, but the heroine in the book didn't mention the endless hours of grinding out BSNs, or the interminable chasing of chubas to practise our trade now did she? *grins*
Still - great ending to that book (no - I won't spoil it for anyone, go read it if you want to know)
I'm still quite proud that they chose a BE as the central character of that novel, and I am one. Silly I know, but they could easily have used a CM/Rifleman instead and had a lot more action in it.
Did anyone else actually read it?

Yep. Read that. A few nice lines and ideas. I liked the notion that you could travel all of Naboo underwater (even if the book didn't go there) Truth is...there are better Star Wars books out there. Might give Timothy Zahn a go.

I read it too. I was interested in Bio-Engineer before that, and I must say...after reading the book I was even more swayed to do so, but when I mentioned it to the guildies...I got a resounding "No!", from everyone.
Guess it's not as fun as it's made out to be in the book?

I'm gonna have to go read it now
BTW - I'm sure the endless grinding of BSNs and chasing of chubas was in the prequel
