Lets see:
No Server listed: -50 points
No desired stats or indication of purpose: -50 points
Spelling the name of the desired creature correctly: 10 points (you would be surprised how many do not)
Specifying a CL that can actually be made in this creature skin: 25 points (for sheer, dumb luck, to paraphrase a popular teacher)
Posting a WTB thread in a profession forum rather than taking any time (or at least giving no evidence of doing so) to check your galaxy trade forum, the vendor thread (titled "Find a BE vendor on your Server") stickied at the top of every page on the forum, or even looking for a BE on your server with the search, or standing for 15 seconds in front of Coronet or Theed starports to listen for the ones spamming pet sales: -100 points
Offering to pay "Handsomely": -100 points (the assumption that you will be handsome when paying is completely unsubstantiated, you are just as likely to be a Zabrack with a green mohawk and hot pink tatoos). No evidence of what a BE might value their time and effort to be worth, and little grasp of the concept that the seller, not the buyer, generally determines the price they will make something available for; the consumer's choice being to purchase or not purchase.
In total , a score of - 265 out of a possible 600.
Next.

lol, Akelan I bet you were the helper title in the game too.
New Guy, on the main BE board there is a thread that should help you out, or if on Gorath you can contact me in game.

I don't even wear the Master Bio-Engineer title. The people that are sharp enough to know that a Geneticist must have something to do with bio-engineering are a good place to start, and the tells for "ken U mak me a Ranker with 10K ham and 900 damige" are significantly reduced.
I spend a lot of time helping people in game, and discussing BE with others there as much as on the boards. My customers generally are pretty happy with the results of my efforts, and I particularly like helping a new player get started with a pet or a tip of enough to buy the item they are excited about looking at a friend's vendor.
I'm also a terminal smart-ass, and I never miss a chance towarp a "straight line".

lol ken u mke me a renkor wit 900+dgm? that's nice. lol
I remember wasting much time trying to sell my mt. dewbacks to people when ws a young Ch, and I know what you mean, stupid tells from stupid people who weren't ch's and after haggling on price, and all which pets, and la la, it would turn out that they were not a CH at all. It's at those moments were you wish there was a dumb%&$ TEF. lol

As much as I agree with the above - we have to play nice
There was nothing malicious in his post and his spelling, punctuation and grammar indicates a certain level of intelligence and education - so give him a break

lol. I have a couple characters on wanderhome as well as my ones on Bria and the other night I contacted Kevm (Kreegan) to say hi. I played out the "worst customer possible" routine with him for 5-10 minutes but I had literally fallen out of my chair laughing so hardand couldn't keep it up. Besides, I think I was about to get banned and ignored, lol.
It's a BE thing ![]()
