well I have taken the my first steps into a brave new world.

I have been in game since day 2, almost a year now. When I joined I became a Bounty Hunter, Master Creature Handler and those professions never left me. That includes putting in 0 time grinding away during the holocron fiasco.

Anyways, I have my fair share of exotic animals ( some gained through tracking and gathering as a MCH, and others acquired through purchasing BIo - Engineered pets ).

I was become bored after one year of playing ( did it take that long? ), so I purchase another account. I took the plunge and started a BIO - ENG character a few days ago. Partly, because of my love of pets, and also because some of the pets I was buying were becoming a little expensive ( I am a poor lazy Bounty Hunter ).

I read through the BE forums, to gain some heads up knowledge on the art and science of Bio - Engineering. I commend your forum, as it displayed alot of helpful advice in getting started and getting over the hurdles.

I realized that alot of the grind would be ( and still is ) crafting. I was fortunate enough to have a few Jedi friends ( guardian level) , who allowed me to harvest alot of meat while they went through Rancors etc. like a chainsaw through butter. In a short time it is amazing the amount of meat resources you can get doing it that way ( A jedi and a Bounty Hunter, out for the common good of meat harvesting !)

Anyways, I finished DNA -4, so I am 1-1-4-1. I have alrready found out about the invalid pet formula as a made a CH-9 pet and gave it to a friend. I hope to learn alot about this profession, but I did want to post and mention that alot of people had put up some really good contributions on here. I enjoyed the FanFest report as well. Good work.

Run! Now, before it's too late!! Go back to being a Squad leader or a Commando, or something else that is easy and makes some semblance of sense!!!

Hehe same here Been playing since day 2, involved since about 2 years prior. Back then, once the professions were fully revealed I wanted to be a Ranger/Chef/Rifleman so I could go out and hunt in the deep woods with my friends, then use the carcass to make us some supper while we sat around a camp fire lmao.

Then Beta came and I found a love for tailoring. I did think about chef, because I spent a lot of time bartending in Tyrena during beta, but I realized how much I loved making cloths for people lmao. Unusual because, as a guy the only time I think about cloths is when I'm looking for clean ones in the morning.. Eventually I became Master Tailor/Master Merchant/Master Artisan with somePistolier skills for hunting with friends.

Anyway, I played up until a little over a month ago and got bored so I went back to my (previously) most beloved MMOG.. Anarchy Online. Bought the expansion and soon realized how much of a reversal it was from the AO I had remembered. So I came back.

When I got back I totally dropped everything I had spent months and months on previously to persue new interests. This included Master Tailor and Master Merchant, I did hang on to Master Artisan though.. just for money making purposes.

So now.. I was practicly a novice again.. and thinking about what to do. I ended up deciding (it took forever because this game has so many damn cool professions to choose from) onMasterBio-Engineer / Rifleman / CH. I worked out a template, took some of the left over tissues I had from my tailoring days and had a friend of mine make me some good +medical and +maskscent/camoflauge clothing and started on my path to the mysterious and amazingly scientific profession of Bio-Engineer.

Now I'm 2/0/3/1 and am having a blast. I've only grinded (or is it ground..) a few times, most of what I've gotten in xp has come from just making TUNS of pets (some good some not lmao) and of course sampling my butt off. I'm having a tun of fun and I must say.. I cant wait to be a master

Long time no see.

For those of you following this, me and Ynatti were former members of a now defunct city on Dantooine on the kauri server.

Yup it is a small world.

I just leveled as master BE today June16th/04

started 10 days ago, it wasn't really a power grind, but it was more than casual.

I'm still early on in Novice BE land. I'm not grinding it, but just trying to work my way up gradually and enjoy it. Congrats on making Master!
