As the title says, I am wondering how important is this kind ofresource to BE?

I am not to sure since I am not that high up in the BE tree yet, but I have still made it a habit to:

1. get missions with milkable creatures

2. Milk them

3. Sample them

4. Finish lair and repeat.

This way I get some nice samplig exp, milk and small amounts of cash as well.

Now I am wondering, is there a point to this? Is Milk worth it to a BE or is it only used in avery limited number of tissues?

Milk is used in the taming tissues, which are not the fastest selling item but quite useful for the CH. It is also used for chefs for a couple of recipes, including Blue Milk, which does sell pretty well. Besides that, it is considered a "creature food" and as such it is an easy to collect, and relatively risk free source of the material to make clones, and useful there even with low stats.

it's also used in flavor-enhancing chef supplements (dimate, tetramate, pentamate)

I just finished grinding my alt up to TKM on Dantooine. I found it especially helpful to do piket missions since they were milkable. Got over 10k in milk, 30k in meat, and almost 300 in egg. Since BE'd milk products are usually lower priced than chef, I think you could safely say it's pretty important to BEs (especially if you ever want to make anything with it in large quantities.

PErsonally I think it's pretty worthless for BE since I have had 4 crates of +17/+17 taming tissues on my vendor since milkable creatures have been put into the game. Creature Handlers on Intrepid at least are allbut a myth. It seems that the only creatures handlers out there are new players who quickly switch when the find being sword makes a better tankand the very few diehards. In the last few months my stim-C sales on the Dantooine bazaar have gone from selling 25 36/1162 @ 4000cr in one day to selling 25 36/1162 @ 3000cr in two weeks. With those facts in mind I just don't think it's worth it to make taming tissues cause the CHs are just not abundant enough to make any profit on them.

Personally I keep about 5k really good milk in stock just incase a CH wants to special order a crate of good tissues, but that has yet to happen. And, since clothing takes forever to/doesn't decay most of the tissues I first made are still being used by the one CH in our guild so he has no need to purchase anymore from me.

I use it as the creature food ingrediant if the stats are good so I can save on meat...I cant really fight on my own to get enough meat to count.
