Thread: Nancy, any word on combat balance now that jtl is released

I am sure the devs will still be very focused on hammering out the last serious bugs in JTL, but they have to get moving on the combat balance. I know the pikeman coresspondant has chosen testers, just wondering if you have done the same.
Also do you have an ETA on when you will be able to fill us in on the summit and such? I am quite curious

meh in the end it's SOE loss tbh *inflates ego* - i was willing to help them sort out the game for free but they turned me down, like the whole UK JTL problem they've just shot themselves in the foot.

They've delayed it's release twice to a total of 3 weeks delay which meant that a lot of people are importing it from the US thus they lost out on A LOT of potential sales. Not only that but there have been posts on the Chimaera galaxy boards of players cancelling their accounts because they cannot be bothered with it any more.

I hear there are a lot of shipping problems with boats etc. and they kind of waited til the last minute... I don't know if UK is effected as much as US but a lot of retailers are getting nervous for C-mas... with the shipping delays at the docs in CA.

Basically SOE claim it is out of their hands are blaming it on Activision. Either way SOE are getting their money, just less of it (because of exchange rates) and Activision have lost a lot of sales because of this. If you check the Chimaera board there are loads of posts asking about websites to get JTL on the cheap.

That's too bad... it is a silly thing and it may or may not be their fault. Especially with the COmbat balance so close.
