Depends on what you are looking for.

Obviously if you are dealing with a 10 and under creature, you are not looking for true effective tanking ability (anything 10 and under can be one shotted by just about all professions). So that means you are looking for primarily abilities. Maybe ranged attack is more important to you?

At any rate, check out http://www.swgcreatures.com/advancedsearch.asp. Select the appropriate parameters and view the results.

Maybe that will point you in the direction you want to go!

The link you gave claims that dalyrakes can be BE enhnaced. That is just not true. Some day maybe, but not right now.

As far as I am concerned the best CL 10 pet I have seen is the Carrion Spat -- 1100 HAM with 15% kenetic resist and also 3 others. If these resist will remain after the patch, is anyone's guess.

Here's a decent search return for what you might be looking for:

Results

Some of the CL's are unverified so they were returned as well. Some things you might want to look at - Fuzzy Jax (non-aggro, but is stalker so not sure non-CH can use), Gualama and Kwi all have light armor and low hp meaning they may be under 10 (but probably not for long).

I would say stun (slows the next attack) would be the most effective. Anything big enough to try the Posture Down/daze combo will probably rip your pet legs off first. It can take some time to get the combo to work.

Any 10 and under pet is going to be worthless when it comes to damage or tanking ability vs another player. Any of them will be able to be 1 shotted by just about any combat profession.

The only reason to use an under 10 pet in PVP would be for a lucky effect hit or just for confusion sake.

Unfortunately, carrion spats have no special attacks so the only reason to use them would be for confusion sake.

All in all, what you will end up with is a throw away pet who will be incapped/killed constantly so don't use something you are attached to, heh.

Yes I agree. I didn't notice the PvP in the original question. CL 10 pets are a complete waste in PvP, unless maybe you could have about 20 or 30 of them out at once :>

The Dalyrake I have in my inventory right now is a CL 18 pet. But the more I think about it, the more I think its a Giant Dalyrake.

My Dalyrake harvester is CL 15.

I know that BEs can make a plain Dalyrake, that may be CL 10, although I don't recall for certain.

bah, pets in PvPare lame.

rely on yourown skills to kill your opponents.

winning a fight because you told some 8000 ham cat to "a." is hardly a victory worth celebrating.

just my opinion, /shrug

The plodding falumpaset has a HAM of 1300, but can't recall the resists. I doubt it's going to be better than the carrion spat though in the final analysis

The bottom line is that no pet below CL 10 is going to make much of a difference in PvP, unless you're dealing with utter n00bs who freak out when an animal attacks them and they don't go after the PC directing them. On a crowded, confused battlefield this might happen.

Regardless of what non-CH pet you use in PvP combat, it's going to get owned very very fast, and not do much damage anyhow. But if you REALLY insist on one, the BE pet with the most HAM below lvl 10 is a carrion spat (1000 to about 1200). Behind that would be bearded jaxes and dalyrakes at about 700-900 HAM.
