Thread: New BE needs motivation
Hey all.. I became a Bio Engineer again about two or three days agon and just have a question for you masters and high level folk. How on earth did you get through it..I mean my God! I gave up on BE about 3 months ago after getting half way through the entire tree.. back then there really wasn't much of a reason to stick around. With the new changes however, sampling and combining to get varied pets is much more fun and satisfying, with one exception. Why in god's name is the xp given for each creature crafted so ridiculously low? I mean..with the amount of resources we use..you would think it would be higher..
Ahh well.. just ranting I guess..I'm sure I'll stick with it but lord it can be frustrating to craft 20 creatures and barley see the skill bar move...
Anyway... I would really appreciate some tips or ideas on the xp grind. Or any thoughts in general from you guys. Thanks a bunch and happy recombinant deoxyribo gathering. 
My advice is to get out there and sample. Go to Dantooine, which is still a relatively safe higher level planet, and get Piket/Bol missions. Bring some Muon Gold with you, spice up, and start sampling the creatures at your lair. Sample until the Muon fades, then craft your pets. If you're enjoying what you're doing, and trying to get that one special to stick on a certain generation clone (this is how I wind up being awake until 2am), the experience will not seem like a big problem.
If that doesn't work for you, do your sampling.. finish that tree. And then whatever's left from crafting creatures, grind with Micronutrient supliments. I have 5 crafting stations set up in a looping macro for when grind - each full line gives me ~500xp. Two lines gives you 1k, and you'll be up the trees in no time.
However, I do recommend trying the first way You'll find it's a great deal more fun and rewarding than grinding. Plus you can make some money literally soloing 9k missions, and work on some nice pets.

Shear mite queens have awesome DNA ! (and hit hard if they don't enjoy the sampling session)
I got myself a swoop bike, always keeping it close to me, and if I get attacked, I jump on it and go straight ! then come back
