I'm very new to the BE profession, and see a lot of people talking about "2nd generation" or "3rd generation" DNA/cloning, and I was wondering just what this is? Any help for this Novice BE would be much appreciated!

It's when you sample a creature or creatures you've already cloned to get DNA, and then use that DNA to create another creature. This generally lowers the challenge level as well as the stats, but it also allows you to clone much more marketable and useable creatures.

Each set of creatures you sample to create a new one is a generation.

1st generation gets sampled to make 2nd generation and so on and so forth.
