I figure I'll fly up BE if I get a tailor/chef to use my stuff. What can I give a novice tailor/chef to use that is easy to grind.

The easiest, fastest, cheapest item to grind is micronutrient supplement. It looks like a coffee pot of green powder. You can give it to a chef to use. If you craft mns in practice mode you get more xp and you don't fill up your inventory.

Just get as much low grade meat and flora asyou can find and craft mns in practice.

MNS is a TON of flora though. Where am I gonna get that?

Flora is a lot easier to come by than meat. Get a flora farm and when you see a group of farms plop yours down. In a matter of a few days you'll have all the flora you'll need to grind and have enough left over to make animals

Don't worry about the flora, I dropped 4 BER3 micro-flora farms on a 90% spot and had 70k units in 3 days. Meat, though, is a PITA. I was able to buy a 12k stack for 50k and was ecstatic, as meat has been going for around 12-20 CPU on my server.

I burned through that on 2 levels of BE crafting.
