Thread: No Vitality Loss?
I was talking with one of my guildmates who purchased a Kallah Krafted Kombat Kritter from me, and amid the other praise he mentioned that the kitty didn’t seem to loose vitality when he was incapacitated. I asked him what he’d been fighting - I know sometimes against little stuff it won’t take a hit, or it you get lucky and heal your pet right after he keels over there won’t be loss. Turns out he’d been taking on some fairly fierce things and the pet had once been dead so long it got sucked into the datapad. Still, after all that abuse the pet was still at 100/100. I asked him to submit a /bug if he got the chance, because that seems awful strange. Has anyone else had this happen?
I think, keyword being think, that for it to lose vitality, it has to get a "death blow" and he may of gotten lucky and nothings killed it, only inapped it. I could be mistaken.
Vitality loss seems sort of random in terms of whether it happens or not.
I've had my pets dropped by things that death blow (Ancient Bull Rancors) and not lose a point of vitality, even though nothing else was attacking the rancor to keep it from death blowing. I've also had my pets drop to things that don't even death blow at all, and lose vitality points.
When a pet gets dropped, I just check the datapad to see what my damages are. 7 out of 10 times, there was no vitality lost no matter what type of enemy dropped it.

I've had pets incapped, & looked in the datapad & see not vit loss. Then I could look again 30mins-hours later & all of a sudden he's got Vit loss even though he hasn't been fighting anything.
So I think it is just delayed.. give it a day or two.
