hello all

i have recently just aquired BE im not a holo grinder and im interested in makeing some decent pets

atm im at 0-1-0-0 dont laugh but it took me a while to work out what im doing and i dont understand it full atm

atm im doing dna from the crap thats around coronet but its trash dna, where the best place to get dna @ my lvl for max xp in DNa sampling?

any help woul be helpful

Dantooine is packed full of good critters, you will need masked scent and i use a 'taliban' pet. It cant fight but while the big angry thing that didnt like my sampling is tearing it to shreds I can run away without wastingm y burst run !

At low level you'll have to tough it out getting samples from starter planet critters...sorry man...thats just the way it is.

Unfortunately, any new BEs or holo-chasers are stuck with a long grind up the DNA Sampling tree...back when I first started BE I could sample horned voritor lizards as easily as a durni. The only difference being higher up the tree was quality of samples. Now I get fails while sampling horned voritors, and I am at Sampling 4...

Find a vrelt lair and go nuts.

Endor isn't bad either, and there tends to be a higher density of creatures that are non-aggro, non-db there as well.

After I hit DNA 1, I started doing Savage Humpada missions for DNA (depending on your skills, this might not be available to you.) I'd have my mount out and any time I got aggroed on, I'd jump on my mount and hit hit peace until I was safe, then I'd go back and resample the wayward beast. I've been able to get Cl 15 creations from these. Grondas are also another possibility. (Corellia is my home )

I must say that on Tat, you can climb up the first box pretty easilly. All you have to do is find some Mountain animals (Dewbacks, Worts, etc), Rondo, Dragonnet (not recommended personally. they usually aggro faster it seems) and Bocatt. Personally recommend the Bocatt, you can find them ok and give out the best DNA for a low end. I can easilly and quickly make cl 12-18 creatures. 200 exp at least from each sample too. Plus its cool to see a Bull Rondo die when you dont even have a combat class ^_^.
