Thread: Enhancers are NOT working!

we need to scream and cry but the medical community will not buy these...they are NOT working!

That's kind of vague, what's not working about them? What was used and what were the stats? What tests were run and what were the results of each?

Look at the doc board and you will see.


Enhancers with 997 effectiveness and above.



They dont change stats to buffs/poison/heal. they still buff at 10% with no changes or heal at the same level or poison at the same level. No reason to buy the enhancers....its a known bug i guess and the devs are working on a patch.

I didn't see anything there that looked like a real test, link please.

Also, are you clicking the ability or are you placing the item on the toolbar and clicking the item?

Did anyone figure out how to get these to work? I tried:



  • targetting myself with them and then clicking on the nutrient enhancer in inventory

  • targetting someone else with them, then clicking on the nutrient enhancer in inventory

  • targetting someone else and just using the /injectnutrient (or whatever) skill with both medic and master doctor

  • targetting myself and doing same

HAD the skill you needed to have. Nothing happened and nothing got used up. These were with the converted to nutrientenhancement ones - didn't try with a proper BE made one.


what am i doing wrong?

On TC you were able to use them by dragging to the hotbar (like with a stimpack) targetting and clicking the item. I never tried from inventory.

Yes, thats how I did it on TC, also. But when I did it, only the duration got increased by about 4 to 5 minutes, no effect on power whatsoever. A longer duration is pointless since SOE promotes a doc being in every group, so people can get a free (because of innate ability) rebuff at any time. So why buy an enhancer to increase duration?
As far as I can tell, nothing has changed between my testing and the time the CU went live.

Were you using Frog (0 Power) enhancers or BE crafted enhancers during your test?

I crafted my own enhancers with frog resources. They had between 500 and 800 effectiveness, I wasnt picky about resources at that time.

NO i wasnt in test I was on LIVE and I made my enhancers because I have an alt BE/Chef. The effectivness was a level 993 with 198 uses. With or without the enhancer the result were the same...10% 40min duration. Droid, no droid, bio clothing, medical city, food...all the same results. Its a bug actually there are a lot of bugs with the medical professions right now. I was just mentioning it here so people here could be aware of it and also shout about it to the devs, since it is now part of our crafting abilities and our buisness.

I got distracted and forgot to check the link. The link above does not go to a thorough test comparing natural abilities vs enhancers. Until I see a decent test, one where the enhancer is used, not the ability, I can't accept that enhancers are broken.

I have made enhancers today


endorphine was 1274 eff and still 10% for 47 mins, believe its 40 mins without
