I converted a BE level 55 with armor catto a level 55 without armor and it turned out to have 3000+ resists in all fields except lightsaber resists.
Ive sent him in to attack level 80 bad guys and he barely if at all gets any damage.
Does the scale of resists now go to 10000? Or still 100 scale and the pet is uber?
My non ch 10 got converted to a 22 and still has 60 kin resist.

Shad-O. Good question. What I am seeing in the DNA is this:
effective resists are values that are proportional against 10,000 - this is said to be logarithmic I think ... I'm looking right now at something that used to be 20% effective and it is now 783.
I am also looking at it's special resistance and it has the same number as before ... 40 became 40 while 100 became 100.
If I look at my armor ... I see that both special and standard (is this what used to be effective) are both 5873.
If I look at a creature in the wild - I can no longer determine it's resistances even tho I am a ranger 0-0-4-0 (not sure if I needed another branch of ranger to see those before anyway). But according to your experience, your wild pet (?) converted ok and your BE one didn't.
Therefore I think we can assume that BE pet conversion is not working (we know this), and also, I suspect that the special resistance on DNA is also not working. I *think* that they are supposed to be out of 10,000 now.
Any thoughts on this - anyone else?

Edited b/c I forgot to add the obvious that it might not be the resistances you are seeing but the damage mitigation of being grouped with a high level player (assuming you are one). How did your level 10 pet do against the same sort of bad guy?

im sure the problem is with old special protection stats vs effectivesness stats
when you get some new DNA (post CU) quite a lot of shows stats like this
Kinetic 60 ....old SP No
Energy 2401....was an effective resist
Cold 40.....old SP No
etc
Fundamentally I dont think the special protection stats are working.Whether they ever will be working, or whether this in intended, i have no idea
