I have been following the boards on a regular basis and I realize that the yelling and screaming posts are going to be ignored. I am not here to do that, but the devs cannot simply ignore the concerns of paying customers who are (in my opinion) rightfully upset. I am a master BE,and have been looking around on some of the other profession boards. We are not alone. Chefs, Squad leaders, Droid Engineers and others are having the same kind of problems we are having.

With that said, let me go on to the reason behind this post...

I love this game for all its faults. I beleive it has great potential still, but I can't tell you how completely disappointed and downright disgustedI waswhenI found out that the cloning staion for the new player cities did not require the skills of a master BE. This really was the last straw. The hump that broke the camel's back for me. Why??? I'm really trying not to bitch and stay diplomatic, but man, that sucked. I'm gonna just leave it like that, but i am curious to know if any other BE's are feeling the pain over this. Thx

Yep, I think it's crappy. It would have been nice to feel _needed_ and this would have been a great place to do it. BE's and cloning should go hand in hand... but then again I think it makes sense to have DE's required to run the Ent light shows and other technique show stuff. I think they've been ignoring that for even longer. ><

I also think it would be really nifty if we could clone out in the field... still have all the downsides to having been cloned, but team mate wouldn't have to run back. Has that ever been suggested to the devs?

Yes, we call us Doctors who can revive, 0/4/0/0. Sorry cloning in the field sort of defeats the taking a chance on dying and would have combat pvp's become useless.

How does cloning in the field differ from a doctor rezzing you? That doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

I'm half bummed by it. The other half of me says that we don't clone people, and cannot run a business out of a cloning center the way a doctor or dancer would in their respective buildings.

well it does not bother me too much, as I am a friend of a city mayor/guild leader. So I bet he would let me run the place and do what I want with it.

And I plan to decorate the City I am in with Creatures...big one too if I can help it.

im a master be on radiant one of a few around there that are stillworking and i have semi retired , looking into new professions working on creature handling and really very very bitter. every day i get a little closer to the surrender button yet get teased back thinking well if i surrender all this hard ass work the fixes will be in the next day all will be better with the world and ill but up a creak without a bantha, so i wait i read boards loooking for new professiosn adn go man there stuff is just as screwed up as mine, ohh and i havent sold one mount yet .thinking of takeing off the master be tag and just going tagless for a good long time to see what happens , or just fireing up my trusty ps2 and playing something else . that reminds me i still need to finisj jedi academy and i think that ktor came out for the pc yesterday so maybe ill just pick that up goof with that waste some time while i pay for a game that right now i really dont feel like playing . or paying for anymore,which would all change with the promised fixes which do sound kinda exciting, but hey they dont exsists as fas as im concerned. so i do agree i hate this game with the new patch adn dont even feel lke makeing pets or mounts for anyone anymore, at least not for anything less than a crazy price or traded items that i want or need , which is kinda fun when some one says how much for that mount trained bol ya got there and i say some jedi force crystals or something equally stupid instead of cash . anyway thats my sudo rant im off to not play this game for a few have a good one everyone

Are they purchased as deeds like other structures? Who makes them?

What? How is cloning in the field the same as doctors? Cloning has bad effects, decay... rez does not have decay. I think that's a pretty huge difference and I was careful to mention that in my post... you could go even further and make dots stay active when cloned in the field so you have decay over and over again. How would this be taking away from doctors?
