Subject says it all... If it is possible I would love to be able to fish using a macro... not so I can grind experience or get resources with little-to-no effort, but because fishing is soooo frustrating and annoying that I can't stand to do it for long enough to get any quantity for fish....

So, if anyone knows of a way to macro fish or something like that, please post here.

I would as well but they made it to where can't as I see it. I not like it cause I can't even fish and do anything else. I never catch a fish since have to hit a action 3 times. Start, nibble bite. Also while on this, how the heck can you even fish witout inventory being open? I have as hot key and all I can do is equip and unequip. Now granted need to see them to get the meat.

No Macro that I know of, but here is a little tip...

Fish in shallow water, stand in the water,when you finally start to reel in your line, walk towards the "bobber" and stand right over it...this will cut the fishing "action" time down and you wont go through all the "your catch charges towards you" spam.

Be careful not to go too deep as you will automatically lose the fish if you start actually swimming.

And, Has anyone tried /startfishing ?

Personally, I walk a bit out, and then cast towards shore. That limits how far the cast can go. More tips at http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=game_guides&message.id=42083&highlight=#M42083

There's currently no way to AFK macro the tugs and whatnot. IMHO thats a good thing.
