Thread: Just mastered and need info on what tissues to stock in my vendor
I also noticed some use rather odd or hard to gather resources. Is it worth making some of these? It'd be hard to make crates of them really (like ones requiring egg or fish or milk.)
Last what do the high use tissues generally go for? Like how much do crates of BSN's generally go for? I've seen prices ranging from 8k to 50k a crate. I am using BE calc for pets and it has a tissues option and according to it, a crate of 25 BSN's of top or near top quality has a base cost of 11.5k. So should I charge double that to make my money back? Triple that?
Thanks in advance
First of all Chefs in general will only buy full runs of (40 crates - 1000 items) or half runs. (Occasionally 1/4 runs if they are short on money ie. new).
Also what stats are your tissues? You probably wont sell any Chef tissues unless they are +85 or above for mediums. (Maybe +84s if you are lucky)
The main sellers for Chef tissues are Micronutrient Supplement (MSN), Broad Spectrum Nutrient (BSN) and Intelligent Nano-Nutrient (INN).
To give details on the values you should hit as a minimum, I would say MSN +54, BSN +84, INN +114.
The majority of sales of Chef tissuesare BSN. As for prices look at how much the resources cost at server prices or see what other BEs are charging in the trade forums.
(Theres an excellent guide about Chef Tissues in the FAQ stickied at the top of the board)
Now on to Tailor Tissues. These are more complicated, but can be a lot more profitable, and are often sold by the crate rather than a full run ![]()
I would say the most popular tissues are Enhanced Myoflex (If you can get the eggs - and make sure u don't sell yourself short on these, I charge 150k for these with most other tissues in the range of 45-65k per crate), Tensile Resistance and Active Biosensors. With the exception of the eggs, most of the resources to make a crate of these can be found in large enough quantities on the bazaar. For the Enh Myoflex and Active bios, try to hit AT LEAST +13/+13 but as high as poss. For the Tensile Resistance try to hit AT LEAST +4/+15.
As a rule of thumb on the advanced Tailor Tissues if it has 2 values then try to hit +13/+13 as a min, or if it has a single value then get it as high as poss. (The exception really is Tensile Resistance where they should hit +4/+15 (and the +4 will not increase to +5 unless you have perfect resources))
Other tissues do sell, but not nearly as much as the 3 I have mentioned.
As to the price of BSN's as I said, I've seen from 8k to 50k a crate lol. A chef friend says typically they are 30-40k for a crate of good ones and I'm doing 84's until I can find a good source of meats (man BE's must pay a fortune over time for creature resources lol.)
While I'm on the subject of BE's. My favorite thing is making creatures and there is one thing I cannot figure out with them. How to experiment on them to increase resistances. Perhaps someone here knows? Thanks again folks

Thanks a lot for the the info. For the most part it went as I expected. One question I forgot to ask. What do most BE's advertise their tissues under? I see there is a pet option but nothing for tissues. I was thinking Componants is probably best but.. not sure.

For prices it is really difficult. If the Chef you talk to is a friend hes prob fairly trustworthy, if you don't know him very well thats probably what he'd like to pay, not what he does pay
And yes we spend an enormous amount of money on meat.
As for Pets, you cannot change resists by experimentation (except Light armor - Fortitude of 500 -causes a drop in resistances, more info is available in the BE FAQ).
To get high resusts, you need to have high resists in your donors. (Vuln counts for -99% so if u have a vuln in one of yourdonors it will most likely create a Vuln in the final pet)
The FAQ in the stickies has more info on pet resists.

I figured you couldn't alter resists but I was hoping you could
