Thread: Advice needed on sampling

I have read through alot of the posts and have a basic idea of how to create pets (cl 10 and others). But what advice can you give on stats to look for samples?
Which stats are good if im aiming to make cl 10s?
cl 12s?
others?
Any ideas or hints/tips that you have gathered over your time as a BE on making recipes and picking creatures to sample/combine. Thank you all!
1. Well for starters, for low level CL pets you want to look for things with lots of vulnerabilities. Obviously a High Kin is good, and needed, but for most other resists,Energyin particular, stay away fromthem unless you are afterthose resists in particular. This is why Merek Harvester goes into so many recipes.
2. The next thing to look foris what specials you want on the creature. This is often personal choice, or customer choice so its hard to be specific, but for low end pets just try and get the DNA from a creature with the specials you need, taking into account point 1.
As a general rule of thumb BE pets are stronger in the ares we want them to be because we create weaknesses in other areas. Once you start seeing ways to 'nerf' certain stats whilst increasing the stats you want you will probably find the CL is dropping too.
So, is this a bug or problem with the BE profession as a whole or will it decrease when I hit master? (by the gods I hope so.) Thanks ahead of time

Continuing from the posters question I have a sampling question. I am almost a master BE but still when I sample mobs I have about a 1 in 10 chance of agro'ing even the most basic mobs like Durni's or Gnorts. My Mask Scent skill is 113 with explore 4, clothing and jawa beer and this still happens. I can run right next to some of the most agressive mobs in the game but as soon as I start sampling the lowest end mobs in the game I am almost guarentee to get attacked, and that chance increases drasticly the more agressive the mob I'm sampling, and as all BE's know, we tend to spend a lot of time sampling agressive mobs lol.
