A Path to being a Self Supplying Creature Master.

My Template

MBE (for Making Creatures)

CH-0, 3,3,3 (for the ability to use 2 pets and train my creations for customers.)

Scout- 4,0,4,0 (Required for CH, but you need for mask scent any way)

Medic- 0,0,4,4 (Required for BE, but you need to heel your self and pets in the Field with a Surgical droid)

Brawler 4,0,0,0 (TK Tree, im always up close and personal with the critters, ranged weapons not good for melee fighting.)

TK Novice same as above. (Currently a Novice Swordsman but an transferring to Novice TK gradually)

Artesian 0,0,3,0 (To Place a vendor to sell my creations.)

Also get a battle droid of some sort. (I have both R3 combat and a probot)

Optional:

Harvesting Droid for the harvest Bonus

Mask Scent and or Camo clothing. (I have +25 mask scent and Camo although I don't think the camo

Does no good for me since I don't have the camo ability.)

A Blap biscuit thingy's to buff pet's ham.

Exo - Wafers to reduce damage taken if agro'd.

Brandy for the Mind buff

Acygeym for the action buff

garmol for the health buff.

I buy stim D's from a guild doctor.

Note: I never get doctor buff. To costly and not necessary.

Set up:

Make an attack Macro for your pets.

Mine just says

/tellpet Kill; (pets attack command is kill) place icon in toolbar)

Make a follow me Macro

/tellpet f; (Place in tool Bar.)

In your ctrl A (Screen from the others tab. drag the sampledna to tool bar.)

How I fit all this stuff together.

Plan a:

Go to Dantooine, find a mission terminal.

Call up 2 pets and a combat droid. (If u can get picket missions with out the pets skip this part)

Chose 2 picket lairs. About 9k each. (You could also choose groul missions or Thume missions.)

Note Pickets and thumes drop the same kind of Herbivore meat and have the same milk.

I will use pickets in this example.

Store pets and head to first waypoint.

Pull up to nest and dismount. (I usually store because I can handle the pickets if they agro)

Now

Mask Scent.

Drink Brandy

Equip be clothing.

eat exo- biscuts

call up both pets.

Call harvest droid or battle droid, if u needs the defense Battle, else I use harvest droid for the harvest bonus.

Note: all pets including combat droid all have same commands.

Now I command all pets to guard me.

Now your ready to start.

Walk up to nearest picket and Milk it. Need to stay with in 3m of picket for all 3 phases of Milking

Or will get message to far to milk. (Note: must have mask scent or they won't let u milk them.)

(Usually about 90 units of milk each.)

Milk all pickets before attempting to sampledna.

Now sample the farthest one away. You want to sample them away from the others.

I Dna sample each one 3 times. (I know I could do more but I don't want to kill him.)

If he is far enough away from the others I will send pets to attack. Then I will stand behind pets and smack the picket

Healing my pets as required.

Rinse and repeat for the remaining pickets out of lair.

Now walk up to lair and attack once and hit peace.

In a few seconds about 3 pickets will appear. Non-agro'd.

Milk and sample as above.

Now you should be able to attack the nest for a few mins. When nest gets to about 50 - 60 % damage call pets off and hit peace.

Now tap lair, hit peace, there is one more spawn left. Be patient: tap, peace, tap peace etc....

Rinse and repeat the milking, sampling, killing.

After the third spawn that should be about it. But once in a while at about 30 %

Left on lair there will be occasional spawn.

Anyway now take out the nest and get 9k rewards.

Go to Next Waypoint and do the same thing.

Save your milk for those chef tissues.

Use the meat for grinding xp, or making creatures, and tissues.

2 nests take about 1 hour.

Results from one nest.

800 - 1k of milk.

700-1k meat

20 DNA Samples.

18k in credits

8000 DNA sampling XP

Scouting XP

20k of 2 handed xp (as novice swordsman)

This is about Efficiency -getting the most out of every action.

Hints:

Its bound to happen you will get agro'd by more than one picket.

This is where u makes your pets protect you.

I keep attacking the one my pets are attacking.

Now if a picket starts hitting me. I back up a few steps to see if he is going to follow me. (He is locked on me.)

Now tell pets to attack this target. (Run interference) you should be able to tell

When the pets got the pickets attention. If u hit peace you should be no longer be agro'd and can heal your self.

Then walk within 6M of pets and heal them

Note: Pet stim's and people stims work on different timers.

So for a quick boost if pet is in trouble, target your pet, and hit him with both a pet & and people stim.

I use Stim d's at 800+ healed and pet stims B.500+ this will give your pet a quick heal.

Now pet stims and droid stims work on the same timer, so u has to decide when to use droid stim.

Instead of pet stim.

If they are ok then stand behind then and attack the same picket they are attacking.

If a new picket attacks you, repeat above steps. The other pickets will usually keep attacking your pets,

But now your pets are attacking the picket attacking you and drawing his attention.

There is another option you can use to increase the spawn of a nest. Is if u are agro'd, run 150 meters away from the nest,

Telling pets to follow, and the pickets will follow.

Now finish off the pickets here. Buy the time there dead, and u get to the nest, its like the mission just reset.

Then Milk, Sample, kill, tap, rinse and repeat as required.

this is my first guide if u can call it a guide, Hope it has helped someone, but i practice this everyday. what u see above worked last

night so everything here is current
