This is a serious/funny idea to help us BEs out. I won't get into some of the bathroom humor I make with my guild but I want to make a petition and get your guys oppinions on if we should pleed to the devs or our correspondant to ask the devs if we can /sample creatures from our mounts/vehicles. I find myself sampling dangerous creatures with full maskscented clothing and those new stims by getting off my bike pressing the /sampleDNA button then jumping back on my bike for safty so I can speed away if everything goes horribly horribly wrong. So essentially with the devs giving artisans the ability to survey from bikes I ask them to give us poor BEs a slight upgrade to our repetwa and allow us to sample DNA from our vehicles/mounts so it is a little bit easier on us and we can provide better quality pets.

honestly, as a noncombat BioE, I like to keep a bike nearby. usually.
the problem is: bikes can get lost, and they don't follow you.
I started using a kaadu on the rough sampling runs. I'm USUALLY ok without an escape device, but when I need one (mutant rancors et al), it does me no good to run 20-100m to safety. I keep a kaadu handy, it follows me, and I macro /mount NAME on the pet and replace my usual mount hotkey.
bonus points: when I get on a good spawn, I can end up leaving my mode of conveyance unattended (but nearish for escape!) for dozens of minutes. on a vehicle, this means decay. on dath, this means that you're closer to walking/cloning home with the next NS spawn. ANYWHERE you go, this means hard creds for repairs. pets don't care; you don't pay a dime for repairs on them.

really though all i'm saying is instead of us having to hop off the mounts let us sample from the mounts/vehicles. This way we can be thrown 1 little bone to appease some of us.
