I am hoping to make novice BE and novice CH tonight... only 2 (half boxes and novice to go)
Hmmm... must make creature to see....
As for the making of med comps. You need a Food/chem tool... and be near the food/chem station for the best results. The General tool will not give you the Bio Effect.. only the food/chem.
And the liq and bio are optional in the instant stims As...
Hope to hear more, see more and post more soon

I crafted Basic Stim A's sitting next to the medic trainer in Dearic.

I finnaly got off my lazy rump and got Novice BE. =)
Went from scout 0010 medic xxx0 to Novice BE in one extreme grind session tonight.
I didn't have much time to play with DNA samples and such, but I got 5 capper spineflaps, and one diseased nuna samples.
The DNA samples are pretty mucch the same as on live. Same stats. I think the numbers are even close to the live numbers.
Template experimentation so far is the same. We have five things to experiment on, and it would appear that the number of dots you can fill is realted to the DNA stats just like on live. So far no big surprises.
One of the big things I noticed on the diseased nuna DNA, it had no disease special attack. Currently on live it has mild diease. Th D nuna was considerably harder to sample from as well. Maybe it was just a run of bad luck like we've all seen, but I went through a few nunas and lots of failures before I got my single piece of DNA. I think I only failed at the spineflaps a few times.
I made a pet from the five spinflaps. Using all my 5 exp points I made a CL8 squall with one failure in the experimentation. After it popped out of the crafting tool I tamed it. It came up with that "You lack the skill to call a pet of this type." error message. This is the same thing that happens on live whenever anyone tames a non-ch pet It did put it into my datapad, and let me call it.
I have screenies of the DNA, the Template, and the resulting creature, but currently have no way of putting them online.
Here are the stats for the Template:
Quality: Low
Hardiness: 2
Fortitude: 2
Dexterity: 47
Endurance: 357
Intellect: 31
Dependability: 1130
Courage: 315
Fierceness: 84
Power 86
Armor Rating: None
vuln to stun
0 in all other resists
no special attacks
no ranged
The Pet stats (max values):
Difficulty Level: 8
Health: 211
Action: 839
Mind: 516
No Armor
resists same as template
Attack Speed: 2.18
To-Hit: 0.0 (yes zero point zero)
Damage 80-90
no specials
no ranged
Overall it looks like the pet crafting system hasn't changed very much except the special attack missing.
