Thread: Tailor tissues question in re: CURB

I have searched around and can't seem to find information as to how the CU will affect BE enhanced clothing.


Will they still be desired? Will they be worthwhile?


Any info or links would really be appreciated.

We have the same questions and I would guess that the best answers would be found with the classes that use the abilities.

My belief is that there will be a reduction in demand on certain bonuses since it seems fewer professions will get the skills. You won't need a bonus to an ability you can no longer do.

But since these changes are supposed to be fluid during the testing phase, I'd suggest keeping an eye on the boards of the professions that have the abilities you're worried about.

But what about things like def vs Stun, it doesnt exist in the CU, does it?

My point is this: Will any BE's make the tissues which provide entertainer wound healing or bleeding defense? I also haven't heard anything if there are changes to intimidation and warcry.


To be honest, currently BE enhanced clothing is what most people buy. Few actually care about "looking great".


So, for me as a tailor any advanced information from the BE community would help me know if it would be worthwhile to invest time or money in certain BE tissues.

We simply need to wait and see. I've voiced this concern and so has the tailor corr, and we're both anxious to test this. But we face two problems:


1) the bio-engineering skill tree is bugged such that nobody can level in it enough to make tissues. I could probably make a +2 bleed defense right now, but I doubt that it would be of any use at all in testing, particularly since that bonuses cannot be "doubled".


2) Even if the bug were to be fixed, it's asking a lot to level up the toughest crafting grind in the game, high enough to make these tissues to test. If they fix this bug, I may try to get a box or two to make some of the "basic" tissues to test, but other than that, I'm afraid we'll have to wait until we get some cooperation from the devs on this. Sooner of later, they are going to have to open up the "frogs".
