This is probably a worthless post but I know holocron people get a bad name. I just wanted to say I've just picked up BE and I'm really enjoying it seems a lot of fun and more complicated than I was expecting.

I still can't decide if the holocron system is good or bad but its fun that it makes you try professions you probably wouldn't of normally.

Ya, I was tempted to go BE a long time ago but went Commando instead. My Holo said BE so I decided to try it and I think I have decided to stay...whoopie!

I am just having too much fun right now!

I tried combat medic as my other holocron and I found out how friendly the medic community isI didn't enjoy the profession so much but it was still fun because of the people. With BE I'm actually enjoying the profession.

Would you mind giving me some tips? Im also a holo grinder, and I certainly mean no offense, but I cant quite seem to get into bio-engineering. I am having trouble getting meat and flora. And DNA sampling seems pretty tedious. Reminds me of creature handler which I really dislike. I am up to 0-0-1-1 after a day of work. Seems like it will be a while before I master it, lol. I think my main problem is I was a Master Commando 5 days ago. Then my first holo said Master Weaponsmith. My second holo said Master Tailor. And now my third say bio-engineer. I think I just miss roasting things, lol. So, do you holo be's have any advice that can make my stay fun and short, lol. Thanks a bunch. And once again I mean no disrespect to all of you be's. I have a great deal of respect for each of you. Thanks again.

Well you're futher in bio eng than I am but I would of recommeded collecting a lot of meat while you were commando but could be too late for that now. So my advice would be if you really can't stand it just to read the BE holocron thread on this board its sticked at the top, it details the fastest way to grind the profession. But if you do like it read some of the other threads too theres more to BE than you see on the surface I think and you might find grinding through it less of a chore if you can enjoy it.

Just a few days into the BE, post silent Holo, but the last of med Elites to finish.

Having a hell of a time so far, made a gurreck last night for a friend out of butterfly DNA. Ah come on, you've all done that.

Probably gonna stay around for awhile and take some time off the Jedi hunt by finally learning how to craft after playing for seven months. The sampling line is boring me to tears so far, but last night I sampled four gaping spiders which was pretty cool. Can hardly wait to get some good DNA to have fun with.

Yep, I'm another one who moaned when he opened a BE holo...but who's been dropping everything but BE! I'm having a blast with it too.

And I've never used butterfly DNA for anything.

But I did make a kimogila out of lesser plains bols. HAMs of 247/247/247 and no resists. What a brute!
