Is there some sort of bug that prevents you from naming BE pets once they're tamed? I can't seem to get a name to stick (using the same method used for CH-tamed pets).
Anyone?

I never name pets so it could be a bug although I don't recall reading about it...
My first guess is, you are using a filtered name. there are lots of illegal names. I would first make sure you have a legal name.

I just named a BE pet of mine to test it out for you.
I was successful in naming my gurreck - PreNerf
it worked for me.

Hmmm...think KillerRabbit is being filtered? hehe
How many commands did you have to teach it for it to take? Just four, right?

Hmm...it's not working on my Durni...but it works for my Gurrcat. Odd.

Killer is/was filterd. I tried to name a pet "Killer" for a customer a couple months ago and I could not. I came to the conclusion that it was a filtered name...

Doh! Thanks. I wonder if "kill" is filtered or "killer". I'll try "Killah" hehe.
