Thread: Master Ch Bio Clothing Problem?

My wife is a master Tailor, and a friend is a master BE. Me, being a master CH thought, hmmm i can now milk animals, so i think i want a set of bio clothes to improve my taiming. So, one thing leads to another and, *POOF*, i have a set of Bio Clothes that add +30 to my taiming viscious/wild creatures. (i know the max bonus you can actually get is +25 but im not complaining).
My first experience is its broken, and i want to know if anyone else (non wookie master CH's please) is having this problem. I attepted (8 or 9 times) to tame a Rancor. Not a Bull Rancor, a CL lvl 50 Rancor, and was unable to tame it. Before i got the clothes, i figured it was because i dont have the natural bonus, now i have a Taming 50/75 and i still cant tame a CL 50. what the heck is the deal. I'm posting this infor on the BE, CH, and Tailor boards to try and get some more information. If the clothes don't help, I would suggest shying away from buying any.

whats your taming aggresive creatures skill?? thats important for taming aggresive monsters like rancors . you can probably tame a level 50 creature but not a level 50 aggresive creature . i might be wrong , just a suggestion

As a MCH, you should be able to tame the rancor without the Taming Wild/Vicious mod.
with the +25 I wear, I can tame wild rancors on the first try most of the time. Although, I have not tamed one since the latest patch...

I havent tamed a new pet since the patch until last night, i foundtwo Graul babies and one Graul mauler babies, no clue why but i got the urge to tame them.
the only rancors you shoudlnt be able to tame W/o the cloth are bulls no?

First.. I am a Wookie.. but
I am CL 40. I tamed 2 Merek avengers, CL 40. And I do have a plus 25 to taming. they failed 3 or 4 times each then succeeded.
