Keep dam low and try getting as many vulnurabilities as possible (Except for Kinetic off course).

I dont have any good recipies myself since ive just started making them myself and its a royal pain in the butt making them . I oftenly end up at lv 11 or 12 (Wich a novice ch can use so its not all in vain).

This recipie was posted in another thread, I nearly got it to work, but I over-experimented. Result was 5.6k health, 2k action, 1k mind, 120-130 damage, cl 11. Voritor dasher in slot 1, huurton pup in 2, 3, and 4, voritor dasher again in slot 5. I forgot to experiment on the psych, so that is probably why it hit cl 11, also nightspider DNA would be better for psych, but I hate going to naboo, it is so out of my way. Anyway, don't do more than 3 experiments in physique, and if your samples are mostly VHQ I wouldn't experiment at all in action or mind (teens in the mind stats still hit over 1k as final result, due to bleed over from health).

This is is obviously a PvE pet, most pets get tore up in PvP even if they are uber, so I wouldn't worry about the low action and mind. They rarely get hit, and pretty much just by an occasional NPC who is a swordsman or rifleman (again, rare). Its a good solid pet all around.

Besides, cl 10 wild caps out at 1k HAM normally anyway.

*begins to wonder why he is justifying this non-ch pet*

Oy, its late.

i'd be interested in hearing more recipes like these as i recently took up BE and when i master i would like to make a few good NON-CH pets with good ham and good kinetic resists (obviously) so any more of these will really help.

Thanks in advance.

my recipie is bol in physical, rock beetle in prowess, lesser plains bol in mental, voritor dasher in psych, and huurton pup in aggresion, usually end up with around 3k health, 1-1.5k action and about 2k mind with 18% kinetic resists and all else vulnerable, usually dizzy or intimadation will stick as specials and ranged can come through

I could use some tips/help what to sample to make the very best none-ch pets Just figured out how to make some good 60% kinetics but they are about lvl 50-60, just bull rancor, bark mites... But when it comes to none-ch I have no clue

In my experience, I don't think that any of the first-gen recipes can compete with the multi-generational ones. The first gen recipes are great for when you have a pushy jerk customer who wants it right now, but for quality pets it takes more work. The reason is that to get good specials, and really punch up the HAM, you need to systematically get rid of all of the offensive stats and keep the rest. Tal-N wrote a great article about this here

http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=bio-engineer&message.id=50336

But essentially what you have to do is find dna that has a big spread between hardiness (high) and fortitude (low) andinsert dna that nukes most of the resists. This dna is good for slots 1-4. To get the tricky 5th slot dna you need to do a few generations starting with something that has nice specials, and then just keep making creatures and sampling those, make another creature, no experimentation, sample etc. until the damage becomes minimum and you keep the specials.

Well, I'm not made of time, so the only way I'd be spending a week on a pet (which is what it would take me to make a 4th or 5th gen pet, cause I really do a lot of stuff besides make pets) is if I'm gonna get payed 200-300k or more for it, then I'd do it. I sell my first gens for around 50k each and, while yes multi-gens are better, they are not significantly better, when I can fudge it just right and get a nearly perfect non-ch on the first shot. The cl 11 was my first try at that recipie, and it was almost right. Since the nerf I don't think you'll do much better than a 5k health 2k action 1k mind 14% kinetic with around 100-150 damage on a non-ch pet. You might hit 30% kinetic, but not much more than that, and you will likely have to take down the health a good bit and the damage almost copletely to get it.

So, sure, all that work makes a better pet, but not very much better. Good to do once or twice in my opinion, but I wouldn't make a career out of it.

Actually Jeff, the only reason you got CL 11 was because you didn't follow the recipe, lol, hurton pup goes in slot 5, not slot 4, lol.

And yep, if all you want to do is make a quick buck, a recipe like that is a great thing. If you want to make the best pet you can for a friend or a good customer though, or just want a rep as being someone who makes quality stuff, ya gotta try harder. A week? nah, just takes about an hour

Tried and made some none-ch off vor dasher and hurton pup.

Hard to keep it lvl 10 many ended up lvl 11, but after 2nd gen dna I got some ham 3k, action 1.2k, mind 2k 120-130 dmg with 14% kinetic.
