Thread: BE Clothing and Skill Tapes.

I need some help because do not understand anything about BE clothing and skill tape. Does BE clothing require skill tapes. What is BE clothing. Can a BE create clothing for every skill. Could some one please just explain to me what both BE Clothing is and if skill tapes are related to BE Clothing. Thanks

Skill tapes aren't related to BE's in any way. They are "loot" only items.
BE's create tissues, not actual clothing. The clothing part is the job of one of our business partners, the Tailor. They create the clothes, but can enhance them in some way when we provide them with the abovementioned tissues.
We make tissues that can affect the following skills:
- Bleeding Defense
- Camouflage and Mask Scent
- Cover
- Injury and Wound Healing
- Melee and Stun Defense
- Taming Wild and Vicious Creatures
- Warcry and Intimidation
- Wound Healing (Dance and Music)

Skill tapes are looted items which effect a wide array of skills such as Terrian Negoaition, Experimentation points in a crafting profession, etc. They can be placed into sockets of already made (finished) clothing. Some come in +1 modifiers, upto a max of+11 (that i've seen). Some are trash, some can set your bank account so high, it will last you for the next six months
BE tissue on the other hand can only effect predefined stats (set by the game mechanics of course) such as + Taming Vicious Creatures, and + Injury Treatment. They can Range from +1 - +25 (dependig on resources). They must be woven into the clothing at theassembly stage, and cannot be placed in sockets.
+25 is the maxiumum modfor any skill from a BE tissue or Looted Tapes/Attachments. Any additional modswill be shown in the skill tree, yet will not be counted (+35 would only result +25). There is some overlap in the array of mods in the looted tapes and the BE tissues. For example, I've looted a +1 Wound treatment, which is basically useless because It would waste one socket in my clothing when I could keep all sockets open and have a +25 Wound treatment using BE tissues

thanks that helps alot, but I've heard people say they have like "one handed speed" BE clothing or do they really just have a looted skill tape for one handed speed.

They really just have a skill tape. The list above is a FULL list of every stat a BE can enhance.
