I liked the sound of bio-engineer, so I decided to invest some skill points in it. Although, I've tried to get good DNA samples from MANY different creatures, but the highest I seem to get is Below Average, mostly Low Qualities though. I know this is probably because I am a Novice but i was wondering; How do I get better DNA samples? Do I need to go up a certain tree? I was thinking I probably needed to go up the DNA Sampling tree, but the bonuses it gives' descriptions just say that you can take DNA from a creature with less trauma to their system, which I thought meant it won't kill the creature when you take a DNA sample from it (awww, I liked one hit killing Narglatch Guardians and Hunters ). So if someone could enlighten me, that would be great . thx

As a MBE, the worst you can get is Above Average. Those are our "junk" samples for testing new recipies, or at least they are for me. ...When I bother to keep them at all that is.

Yes the Sampling tree gives you some nice bonuses to the samples you get.

The higher you go up the DNA Sampling tree the higher the quality of the samples you collect.
