With the advent of TC-Ahazi, I had a chance to dabble with some top notch resources for Doctor and CM components. The components described belowwere made with 12 crafting points, on a non-FS crafter (my FS crafter wouldn't convert) and outside of a research center (hence no amazings). All were maxed for power within 10 points, and the extra points put into charges. Here are the results:

Advanced Infection Amplifier 282 power, 33charge (theoretical max 300 power, 75 charges)

made with970 OQ/150 UT titanium aluminum, 998 OQ/311 PE eleton gas

Advanced Dispersion Mechanism 272 power, 30 charge (theoretical max 300 power, 75 charge)

made with 973 OQ/442 PE Class 2 LP, 995 OQ/663 UT Yavin Fiber

Advanced Resiliance Component 277 power, 25 charge (theoretical max 300 power, 75 charge)

made with 927 OQ/964 DR Tolium Gas, 967 OQ/459 PE Class 1 Radioactive

Advanced Solid Delivery Shells 298 power, 29 charge (theoretical max 300 power, 75 charge)

made with 997 OQ/990 PE Domestic Oats, 1000 OQ/833 UT Dolovite Iron

Advanced Biological Effect Controller

made with 966 OQ/514 PE Lok Wild Wheat, 956 OQ/990 UT Tatooine Fiberplast

Advanced Chemical Release Mechanism 66 power, 2 charge (theoretical max 75 power, 5 charge)

made with 991 OQ/657 Herbivore Meat, 912 OQ/833 PE Class 4 LP

Advanced Liquid Suspension 69 power, 2 charge (theoretical max 75 power, 5 charge)

made with 854 OQ/918 PE Dantooine Berries, 1000 OQ Talus water

Chemical Release Mechanism (non-advanced) 34 power, 4 charges (theoretical max 35 power, 5 charge)

made with 993 OQ/1000 PE organic, 999 OQ/670 UT chemical

Solid Delivery Shell (non-advanced) 199 power, 19 charges (theoretical max 200 power)

made with 993 OQ/1000 PE organic, 1000 OQ, 592 UT metal

I only crafted a few packs from these components:

Nutrient Injection Enhancer 189 charges, 1340 power

Instant Stimpack D 15 charges, 1201 power

made from 993 OQ/1000 PE fruit, 963 OQ/696 UT fiberplast

Some other crafting notes:

- old components are not converted, but still work in the schematics (the ones without charges before now have 0 charges)

- Janta Blood works in Stim Ds

Did you notice if any of your previous crates of advanced components converted to the new stats? If so, did you see any discrepencies?

If this is not a bug, people will be stocking up on 22+ charges ABECs and 180+ power ALS before the CU.

A quick question: is it true that Stims only require a character to have a certain Combat Level, and no Medic to use?

If you look at his results, you'll see 30+ charges and 300 power... I'd say old components aren't gonna be worth stockpiling...

I see this:

which is a long way from 300/30

Lets look at a combination of ABEC and ALS under the old system:

ABEC c22/p15, ALS p180
=> 22 charges / 195 power

Under the new system, assuming 100% experimentation in _both_ lines:

ABEC c8/p80, ALS c5/p80,
=> 13 charges / 160 power - and you have to sacrifice in one stat because you cant max out both lines.

I would say its worth stockpiling old components.
