Ok I just want to know if anybody else has this problem. Almost all the medium nutrients I make are 85 or 86, not bad, but in order to make 87 I need to use a 30k vet reward, which makes them not worth making. I saw some 88 BSN from an old BE, but how is this possible, I can only hit 87 if I use the best resources I can find. I used a 15.0 tool, with a 45.0 crafting station, in a research city, and it was no better than using a 15.0 tool 43.XX station in my house. So what gives??

ok...dont worry about the tools etc...I personally have noticed little difference...the big question to ask is...have u used up all your experimentation points to hit +86.

If you have then there is something wrong with the way you are doing it...

or, more likely, and as I suspect, you are just not using resources of a high enough quality...

The weighting is 50%OQ/30%PE/20%FL (The schematic says the wrong weighting...)

Also try using High OQ wood in the Organic slot...this can help push the stats up and keep down costs.

If u try the following link an input the resources you are using it will tell u what the max is...

also there is a good FAQ in the FAQ heres the link.

The meat you use is normally the limiting factor. Finding high quality meats is the hardest part of BE crafting.

I usually have 1 exp point left over when I make 86. I've seen conlficting reports about how stats are weighted. I've seen a BE in game asking for meat with an avg OQ, PE, FL of whatever. I started out using a weighted avg when buying meat, then I switched over to a straight average of OQ, PE, FL. I guess I'll go back to 50 % OQ, 30, 20. Since the ratings on tools and stations apparently don't really mean anything (i've been told that crafting station ratings are bugged) has anybody been able to make 88 BSN recently. A BE in my guild that left the game had some in his inventory when he was giving stuff away, so its definately possible. Perhaps it was only possible in a previous time, when the ratings on tools and stations might have mattered. I used the best possible meat I could find from a 30k container using the 50, 30, 20 weighted average, and had some really HQ flora , and I could only hit 87.The weighted averages of the meat and flora i'm almost sure were 900 or higher. I suppose hitting 88 doesn't really matter, cause it seems to me that chefs in general don't want to pay a higher price for 86-87 versus 85.

The trick is just to stockpile the best resources when they come into shift....you just need enough patience, and eventually you'll get a high-yield shift of meat with a BE rating over 900 and flora over 950 or so, then just pair it up with 1000 OQ wood and you'll get your 87s and 88s. Thats probably why your BE friend had good ones, he had just been a BE long enough to be around for good meat shifts in the past.

It took me about 6 months before I could make 88s...and even then the carn meat I had to use was Talusian Carn and I only managed to buy enough to make 4 runs before it went out of spawn...

90% of the time I make 87s.

when you get above 86s you are really splitting hairs as to the quality that will push you to 88s.

Just be happy with the 87s.

I've only been able to get meats to make 88's once and they ran about 40 cpu...until the chefs heard about it and the price went out of my range. I did get enough to make 5 full runs, but the price difference wasn't enough to make it worth my time.

My guild Chef friend was dropping Chef so I gave them to him along with some 87s etc to make a ton of food so we had large stockpiles...2 months later I have massive stockpiles of food thats worth jack in the CURB
