Hi I was wondering what recipe you would use to make a pet like this one.
rancor pet, dizzy and knockdown.
12.7k,11.3k,11.5k ham
light armor
45,60,25,100,100,100,25,25, resists
2.02 speed
465-640
Any ideas would be appreciated very much.
Thanks

the only creatures in the game with those stats are Mutant Rancors and Rancor Youths...with the Kin of 30% on the Rancor Youths and the Muties having exactly 45%...theres no way the Youth could be used in there...
In which case it has to be a straight MR clone...although if u put more than 2/3 MR samples in a template more often than not it overshoots CL75.
What specials...I am assuming SP1 -, SP2 Dizzy Strike.

He's a BH / CH that is looking for a CL70 pet with dizzy / kd and good ham / power. Where is the best place to find mutant rancors?

Near the Dath Saarlac and in the Rancor Cave on Dath
And if you put a low (A Avg) sample in Agression, you have a better chance of it staying within level 75.

Highest possible in the Phych and Agression slots. Yes, that conflicts with the earlier advice. Sicne each piece will have the same specials, you can probably get away with using the lowest quality DNA in agression and still get the specials. There are neverany guarantees though.

You can't get KD from a MR sample...u need something else...best bet is Gronda Juggernaught if u can find one
but then they are rare and u are comprimising the stats of the rest of the creature.

So if you were to make a CL70 pet with KD / Dizzy and goot kenetic / energy protection what dna would you use? I'm still very very new to the pet making process. I've only focused on making tissues since there are very little CH's on the tarq server. This girl has been very patient with me and I'm trying to do my best to make her a pet that is good and has those special attacks.
Where do I find this Gronda Juggernault at? I've managed to get two mutant rancor samples with 3040 scout and one BE shirt and let me tell you that was a pain. Had to try lots of tricks to sneak up on those guys.

Gronda Jugernaught will be a pin to find...they are a lair boss of grondas from Corellia I believe...
If you are willing to comprimise the specials a little what about
BMBQ/BMBQ/GVT/GVT/GVT (Bark Mite burrower Queen and Grassland Voritor Tracker)
U should get something like:
CL unknown - prob around 60 i'd expect
11/11/10k HAM
AR1
Kin 60
NRG 55
Heat and Elec 52
Acid and Stun 17
SP1 KD
SP2 Crip Strike (Like KD its a posture down attack so u get 2 chances to get them on the floor)
If u must have the specials then:
BMBQ/BMBQ/GVT/MR/GVT
11/11/11
AR1
60
55
57/57
22.2, 16.7
With the specials you want
there isn't too much between these pets...but I prefer the first as its 2 chances to KD rather than 1 chance and dizzy...after the CURB there is KD avoidance anyway...but we don't know whats going to happen to specials either...
My advice is make the pet and tame it b4 the CURB as pet crafting is messed up on TC...

Thanks LloydPickering!
I'm going to try and get that DNA tonight and see what I can make. Any advice on what I shoud experiment on with the two recipes you listed above?

Unforunately with the CURB coming you picked a tough time to make this pet.
You'll get Dizzy/KD from using a VHQ sample that has Dizzy/KD in the Aggression slot. Best bet is probably Grassland Voritor Tracker, though the 3 100%'s will go down.
Check out SWGCreatures DNA Lab. Try some of the combinations you see in this thread and check out the resists.
Mutant Rancor/Mutant Rancor/Rancor Youth/Rancor Youth/Grassland Voritor Tracker
Other high CL creatures to try, though they'll change the resists, could be Bark Mite Burrower Queen (Endor, West of Smuggler's Outpost) or Young Malkloc Plainswalkers (Dath, odd places).
Getting Mutant Rancor DNA, especially if you've never done it, is anything but predictable. If you're serious about getting some wear Maskscent clothing, drink some Jawa Beer, and get some of those Aroma Screen stim things. Check around the Dathomir Sarlacc for wild spawns, or check the Rancor Cave that's West of the Science Outpost.
If you're only using 1 or 2 MR samples you can experiment up the HAM pools (Phys, little Prow, Ment) & put some into Psyc and you most likely won't exceed CL70. If you're using more MR samples be careful not to experiment more than a couple points into Phys or you could overshoot the CL.

Its difficult to say as everything is interlinked and you can't tell exact CL till u finish template and put it in pet...
Physique and Psych - max out...thats par for the course really...
If u are trying to get the CL higher go for aggression too...
If u push it over cl70 (which i think is unlikely...but possible) then assuming its under cl75 resample it and do a straight gen1/gen1/gen1/gen1/gen1 clone maxing the Psych and Physique, but putting 1 less point in aggression.
really there isn't a definitive answer...u need to experiment...thats whats great about BE crafting, u never quite know what u will get whem trying out a new idea.
