No, because of the inverse of what you said. They just might make it to live. See 100% aggro DNA sampling.

Is it just me or is this a horrid idea when looking from a BE standpoint? Does this mean everytime i want to go sample creatures i need to do it naked? I realize that there needs to be a "penalty" for dieing, but am i being unreasonable for thinking any kind of decay for being incapped is insane?

hang on, does this mean that if we are carrying dna samples and we get incapped, the samples will loose quality?

I don't think this discussion is knee jerk at all. If we don't discuss the issue it will make it to live. Then its just a bit late isn't it?

I would recommend posting to the testcenter forum what this means to bio-engineers. Maybe SOE wants BE's to run around in their undies.

If this does make it to live I plan to bring a friend on my sample missions. I'll sample in my underwear and they can hold my DNA for me. I'll have to give them the sample everytime to avoid the decay when Iget squashed into blue goo. What is the decay rate on underwear anyway?

This is an awful idea, plain and simple, for pretty much every class in the game. Sampling high level creatures almost promises you that you are going to get incapacitated now and then, and death ensues also sometimes.

Yesterdays trip to Darthomir for me would have cost 87% decay....
