When you use a crafting macro make sure you are not near a crafting station or it messes up because of experimentation.

The /nextcraftingstage macro would work fine at a crafting station as long as you have *3* lines of it instead of two before the /createprototype lines. In fact, the 3-liner even worked without a station, so it became my default.

However, since the latest patches have screwed the macros, I haven't been using either one.

Incidentally, when I do the grind process by hand I end up getting more xp. There's still a bug where when you make a tissue, if you get a crit fail, it leaves the resources there and you can still hit Assemble and get the xp for it. Basically, it's not possible to fail. But if I do it with the macro, it blows past the error message for crit fails and I do lose the resources and the xp. So I do it all by hand now, unless I'm settling in for a really long spell of it.

I just starting BE last night, and so I have only tried the macro's from this patch, and niether /nextCraftingStage, or /createprototype work at all, they only make it think that I do not have any resources loaded into the boxes.....So did the patch screw up any ability to macro efficiently?

It says to use that statement twice, but I always found that it only worked if I used it 3 times. Try that.

Test your macro line by line by creating a separate macro for each command. Do it manually up to the point of the line you are testing. When it doesn't work as a macro, but it does by typing it in or clicking, then you're putting it in the macro wrong.

So I read all over about macros, and using these commands,

but no matter what I have tried, I cant get /nextCraftingStage to do anything, when I try to do it manually it does however make it think that the items is not ready to be crafted even though it is. Did something change that I missed?

thx
