I just read the changes proposed by SONY for balancing creature handlers. They are lowering the pets allowed to be used by NON CH players to level 10. This eliminates pretty much any pet that would be considrered useful by a NON CH.

This, in short, is what has happend in the past few months by the brain childs at sony. Maybe not the place to discuss this but honestly i could care less about Creature handling. Its a rubber ball that the devs throw around so much its starting to come apart. The sad thing is that it affects alot more than just the CH's.

First decison :

New players are to powerful being able to use probots - lets nerf probots. Take away armor, hps and damage. - Player reaction - **edit**? DE reaction - **edit**? Player reaction - **edit**??

Second decision :

Lets give every player in the game the ability to be a novice CH. Since we pissed them off with probots, lets sooth by givng them pets. The result is/was exactly the same. Players get a probot with a different skin. Please do not list the fundamental differences between a droid and pet. I am well aware of them. Player reaction - woohoo we're uber again. Novice CH reaction - **edit** did i become a CH for ? Sony reaction - lets add + pets to all CH levels .

Third decision-

Lets remove the now once again UBER players with their UBER level 1-15 pets, take away damage, hit points and armor from pets these NON CH's can use AND lets give the DE proffesion a combat line of droids that only DE's can use. (I am happy DE's getting attention.. plz dont get me wrong). DE Reaction - Ill believe it when i see it. CH reaction - **edit**? BE reaction - Um.. can we get a freaking corespondant? Sony reaction - good job you guys another succesful update!

Sony you guys are really sad. Even little children learn from their mistakes. You are supposed to be proffessionals. You have come full circle from day 1. I am very disappointed how you focus on very specific game details and ignore everything else. Do you realize you are kiling us, the EXACT same way you killed DE's a few months ago.

Apologies if this sounds like a rant, but Im a bit fed up. Sony treats us like sheep. Why am I still here? My friends play and there isnt really another MMORPG out there im interested in and i do still enjoy some of the crafing side to this game.. but the market is expanding exponentially.. leaks have sprung and passengers are abandoning ship.

Please.. please get a clue. Its like nobody there has ever worked on a previous game, or even played one. The best online game, by far for me, is still the first - Meridian59.

Yes, they eliminated a lot of pets for non-chs, but the ones that are still out there are still better than no pet at all. Put some doctor buffs on a Carrion Spat with its 15% resists and it is still good enough to watch your back for you. Some day maybe droids will take over the non-ch market, but right now it is still easier to heal a pet during combat to keep him going for you.

Well thats fine, but it will be like the probot nerf.. we will lose most of the customers to droids as they did to ur pets since they will have only one pet out at any time.. droid/pet/atst whatever. Stim and vital sales will drop. Its a very bad thing IMO.

I guess will have to wait and see.
