Theres an AI issue with Bio-d Gurreks.. apparently bio-d pets werent given the new pet AI?

Anyhow mine NEVER stop attacking thier targets until they die...

as you could imagine, this can be a problem sometimes... well... all the time

It might actually be a case where the other creature was attacking in return and the phy stat for the Gurreck was so low it meant it was ignoring you and responding to that threat... or maybe it was too smart and independant. Either way I don't think this is something which effects all bio-gurrecks since technically they use the exact same AI as the wild ones. Most C++ Ai uses a baseai code and then adds further adjustments in a seperate cpp and header file. If bio-gurrecks are effected I'd personally expect the wild ones to as well. I may be wring of course...

This is the 5th time shes fought to the death. 2 times in pvp in a 20vs 1 situation and once against 15 nightsisters etc... shes never had her back against the wall he just fights non stop regardless... to the death... everytime!

I had one person incapped... so i finally got him to stop.. THEN the incapped person got up and he took off right after her and incapped her again!

This thing is viscious... I duno what u bio's might have put in this crap but this one dont stop till shes put down!

/sigh i should have never gotten that gurrek nuetered.. i duno if its a he or a she no more

Yeah man...its been a while, hehe, is buzz still playing swg too? Tell him I said hi. Dooom gave up on swg a month back and I think he's back in daoc. But I already unloaded my acct, so I'll probably be sticking to swg until eq2 or wow comes out or something hehe

Haha...you have a really strange problem...most times people complain that the pets run too much. I guess yours has been over buffed maybe when it was made. Probably should get a new one Dunno how you are giving your pet commands, but maybe u can try breaking off the attack by telling your pet to /Follow other and targeting something further away. If not...try neutering it again lol

You might want to check the spelling of your commands as well. And remember commands are CASE sensitive. I know for about a week with one of my pets, the trainer misspelled a word so the groupy was actually spelled gruopy. Just something to look at in your data pad and macro if you have em macro'd.

there are some cases thatpetsdont stop attacking:

if they are poisoned, bleeding, of diseased (basically any DoT effect) they will start to run towards you when u tell themtoand then once the next blip of dmg comes, they run right back to the enemy - every time.

BE gurrecks work perfectly fine, my friend has been using one i made him for weeks and it is extremely obidient.

i hate to mention it cause its almost silly to discuss, but we may be seeing the effects of the mysterios psychological profile, i doubt it though.
