Thread: What's your highest mod so far?
I'm just curious what kinds of mods everyone is making? Has anyone managed anything +19 and up? If you made something spectatular please post the stats of the resources you used.
Thanks!

I disagree, there is a limited amount of spaces for mods and often people need the highest they can geton each mod so they have room for others. My customers seem to prefer having say, +18 bleed pants, +18 stun/+4 melee shirt, and +18 camo/mask scent spec ops duster with maybe a little healing thrown in there somewhere instead of being limited to a +13 or having to put the same mod on two items to get close to the cap of +25.

There is clear indications of a biosensor cap if you look back on the forums, it also sounds ridiculous to even assume that there isn't a cap of any kind. a +25 cap is very reasonable but to assume you can increase someones abilities by 50% or more is very far fetched. As for relying on two items of clothing to reach the cap I don't really see an issue, most people can wear 5 items of clothing and it'd very rare to need more than 2 or 3 types of enhancements.
I can see your point about getting as much into a single suit as possible but most folks just want to get a couple skills enhanced as much as possible. It doesn't hurt to just haveseveral outfits dedicated to a certain role.
Keep in mind that as far as I know, you can only wear a total of 4 combat mods. That is pants, shirt, jacket and a bandolier and if you wear a bandolier, that means no backpack. That leaves most people with only 3 slots for reinforced(combat) mods. All of the items that I have tried that use multiple -slots- for reinforced only actually come out with one reinforced type. Putting a reinforced (combat type) and synthetic (healing type) seems to work just fine together but not two reinforced or two synthetics. This makes it super important to have the mods as high as you can get them. Also, there are very few items that can be worn under/with armor. In fact, the only thing I've found so far is a shirt, so of course they are going to want the highest they can get there.Every customer who I have offered one of my lower mods to at a cheaper price has chosen the higher stat mod even if it is significantly more expensive. They want the best and the most mods they can get.
So my question stands, what's the best mods you've been able to achieve. ![]()
Thanks!

Discounting the advanced cover and taming tissues, I"ve gotten most to +19 (capping 95% experimentation). Mask Scent and Active Bio Sensors have been a bit of a pain, both hititng +17 before capping out.
1 tissue shirts worn under armor is why the best possible is wanted in a single tissue... or mix / matching an outfit (I wear a mixed camo/mask scent and injury/wound suit while farming easy meats).
I'm not trying to argue with you, but there's no hat that I know of that will hold a reinforced(combat) type mod.
If you know of one, please let me know. It would make me quite happy! ![]()
